The Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences organized an insightful webinar in collaboration with the Indian Pharmaceutical Association on the theme “IPR in Pharmacy: Protect and Prosper”. The session was conducted online via Google Meet and witnessed enthusiastic participation from both students and faculty members.
The webinar was delivered by Dr. Samir Bhargava, Head of the IPR Cell at CIIES, DIT University, Dehradun. In his engaging session, he elaborated on the significance of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) in the pharmaceutical sector, emphasizing how patents, copyrights, and trademarks safeguard innovative ideas and research outcomes. He also highlighted the crucial role of IPR in fostering innovation, promoting research, and facilitating commercialization within the pharmaceutical industry.
The event was conducted under the guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Abhijeet Ojha (Principal FPS) and Prof. (Dr.) Arun Kumar Singh (HoD FPS). The webinar was effectively coordinated by Mrs. Pooja Joshi, Assistant Professor, FPS, ensuring its smooth ex*****on.
The session concluded with a formal Vote of Thanks delivered by Prof. (Dr.) Abhijeet Ojha, who expressed gratitude to the speaker for sharing valuable insights and appreciated the active participation of attendees.
