The Commerce Excellence Club of St. Joseph's College, Hassan, organised a guest talk on โ€œGlobal Career Opportunities with ACCA and CMAโ€ at the Loyola Auditorium.
The session was led by Mr. Maheshwar Narayanan, Assistant Vice President, Imarticus Learning and Mr. Gautam who provided valuable insights into the growing global opportunities in professional accounting qualifications such as ACCA and CMA. He highlighted the career pathways, international prospects, industry expectations, and the skills required for students aspiring to build successful careers in accounting and finance.

St. Joseph's College, Hassan, hosted the Talent Development Programme 2026 for its students organised by the Student Council, Business Team and Entrepreneurship Cell of St Joseph's College of Commerce (Autonomous) Bengaluru.

The two-day programme provided students with an enriching platform for learning, interaction, teamwork and leadership development. The sessions included Canva for Beginners, Business Case Challenge, Quiz and Interactive Games, PR Crisis Management, Business Plan Challenge, and Team Presentations.

The SJCC team comprised of Mr. Sanjay, Faculty Coordinator from SJCC Bengaluru, students, Rayaan Mohamed Javid, Samarth Santosh, Navin S Naik, Jay S Shah, Prita P, Jenice, Sanjeev Rohan and Bhavya Thakwani.

Ten students from the B.Com and BBA programmes of St. Joseph's College, Hassan successfully completed a one-month intensive internship at India Post Payments Bank (IPPB), Hassan.
During the internship, the students demonstrated exceptional commitment, professionalism, and initiative, contributing significantly to business development and customer outreach for IPPB. Their commendable performance earned special recognition from the IPPB Headquarters, New Delhi, highlighting the impact of their work.
To honour their achievement, the students were presented with certificates of appreciation at a short felicitation ceremony held at St. Josephโ€™s College, Hassan.

St. Joseph's College, Hassan, in collaboration with Magic Bus India Foundation, successfully conducted a Free Placement Job Drive on the college campus, receiving an overwhelming response from job seekers across Karnataka.

As many as 381 candidates attended the interviews, with around 25 parents accompanying them. The campus welcomed 30 companies and 40 HR professionals from Hassan, Mysuru, Dharwad and Bengaluru. Candidates travelled from Mangaluru, Bengaluru, Tumakuru, Mysuru, Arsikere, Sakleshpur, Chikkamagaluru, Hassan and neighbouring areas to participate in the recruitment process.

St Josephโ€™s College (SJC), Hassan, through its Centre of Excellence, organised an intensive Upskilling & Entrepreneurship Workshop for students of BBA, B.Com and BCA. The three-and-a-half-hour programme brought together students from all classes and sections for an engaging and vibrant learning experience.

The workshop was conducted in collaboration with Vlinkin Professionals LLP, Mysuru, and Amossys Consulting Services Pvt. Ltd., Bengaluru. A team of 14 resource persons from the two organisations travelled from Mysuru and Bengaluru to interact with the students and provide practical insights into employability, professional skills and entrepreneurship.
