The School of Legal Studies, OM Sterling Global University, Hisar, successfully organised an insightful expert lecture on “Gender-Sensitive Justice: Supreme Court Guidelines and Judicial Responsibilities” on October 6, 2026. The session was delivered by Mr. Ajay Nain, Advocate-on-Record (AOR), Supreme Court of India, who shared valuable insights into the evolving judicial approach towards gender-sensitive justice, Supreme Court guidelines, constitutional principles, and the responsibilities of judicial stakeholders in ensuring fairness and equality. The programme was graced by the presence of Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. N. P. Kaushik and Group Executive Coordinator Prof. Dr. Shobhna Poddar. Dr. Neelam Sihag, Associate Dean, School of Legal Studies, also attended the session.
The lecture provided students with valuable practical knowledge and contemporary perspectives on the role of the judiciary in promoting justice, equality, and gender sensitivity.
