*Online Alumini Talk 2023*
Rayat Bahra College of law has organized it's 1st Alumni Meet on 6th November 2023( Monday) under the able guidance Principal Dr. Rang Nath Singh and HOD Dr. Priyanka Puri. This Alumni meet is conducted in order to reconnect with the Alumni and celebrate their success and various achievements. Alumni from passing year 2021, 2022 and 2023 were invited to grace the occasion. Faculty Convenor Ms. Alka Rani and Ms. Swati Thakur ( Asst. Professor. Laws) with the help of present students welcomed all the dignitaries and all the alumni for responding to the invitation from the college and being present for the virtual alumni meet inspite of their busy schedule. Our Alumni Ms. Jasmine Vashisht and Ms. Lalita Devi from the Passout Batch 2016- 2021 and 2017-2022 respectively shared their college memories with the students. They also guided the students by giving a valuable advice to them about balancing their time and by answering their questions. At the end of event principal Dr. Rang Nath singh had addressd the alumni members in which he congratulated the alumni for achieving success in their professional career and also requested them to remain associated with the institute for the well – being of current students. HOD Dr. Priyanka also thanked the alumni for taking out time for the alumini meet and motivated the current Batches to stay focused about their goals and utilize their time and energy to flourish both in academic and other activities.

*GUEST LECTURE*
Today on 26th October, 2023 under the able guidance of Dr. Rangnath Singh, Principal & Dr. Priyanka Puri, HOD, RBCL a guest lecture on the subject *Business Laws* was organised in the Moot Court of RBCL. Dr. Arneet Kaur, Assistant Professor, Laws from Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar who has an experience of 11years of teaching in Corporate Laws and presented 39 papers on the same in various National / International Seminars and Conferences delivered lecture on the Topic " *Limited Liability Partnership".* 80 students from B.A.LL.B Semester 9 and 7 attended the lecture. The lecture ended with the vote of thanks to the esteemed guest by Dr. Priyanka Puri.

Under the able guidance of Dr. Chandar Mohan, Worthy Campus Director, RBGI and Dr. Raghunath singh, Principal of RBCL, Dr. Priyanka Puri, HOD, RBCL, on 17 October, 2023 A one day Hon'ble punjab & Haryana High Court visit was successfully conducted by Mrs.Sukhpreet kaur uppal and By Mr. Rahul Mdhara,Asst. Professor in Laws for the purpose of offering them a valuable opportunity to witness the live legal proceedings in the court. This visit has enhanced their theoretical knowledge and foster a deeper understanding of the practical aspects of law.
34 Students of B.A.,LL.B( Hons.) Semester 7th visited Punjab & Haryana High Court,Chandigarh. Students visited various court rooms and watched live court proceedings. The students showed their keen interest in learning the litigation procedure of the Hon'ble Court and expressed willingness to have more such visits organized by the college in the upcoming session.Such kind of visits helps to motivate them to doing that level of hard work that they also can reach upto this position.

District court Hoshiarpur visit

On 11th September, 2023 Rayat Bahara college of law, under the able guidance of Campus Director Dr. Chander Mohan, conducted Community Project themed "Drug De- Addiction" in the Bilaspur village of Hoshiarpur district. The project was coordinated by coordinators Mr. Jetinder Kumar and Mr. Rahul and a team of 23 Students from first and third Semester participated in the event. The objective of the project was to reach the neighbouring villages and spread awareness among the people about the menace of Drug addiction prevalent in our society, especially in the region of punjab. The school Students were made aware about the ill effects of drugs and its consequences by performing a 'Play' on the menace of Drug. An awareness rally was also conducted by the students throughout the village to aware the villagers.

On 8th september, 2023 under the able guidance of Dr.Chander Mohan ,Campus Director, RBGI and Dr. Priyanka Puri, HOD,RBCL, An Internal Moot court Competition was organised by Ms.Sapna ( Asst. professor, Laws) in Rayat Bahra College of Law , Hoshiarpur . There were Total 6 teams who participated in the competition from B.A
,LL.B ( Hons.) Semester 5th & 7th . Each team consisted of 2 speakers and 1 researcher. Dr. Kalpana, Mr. Rahul and Ms. Twinkle judged the teams on the proposition based on criminal law. Participants prepared their Memorials after putting in a lot of hard work and also shown their keen interest in the competition. Team (D) won the competition comprising - Inderdeep Singh , Harsh Sharma ,Tajinder Kaur ,1st runnerup was team ( C ) comprising- Jatin , Karan Behal , Namandeep and 2nd runnerup was team ( E ) comprising - Prabhjot Kaur , Varun Chattri, Kanchan .
The teams were appreciated by Dr. Priyanka Puri and the Judges at the end of the competition.
