*• Brief description of the event:* Today, the B.Ed. Department of Bijoy Krishna Girls’ College organized two significant academic activities that showcased creativity, subject knowledge, and collaborative learning among the students. The Semester 3 students conducted a TLM (Teaching–Learning Material) Exhibition, where various departments such as Physical Science, Life Science, History, Geography, Bengali, Sanskrit, English, Philosophy, and Economics presented attractive and meaningful educational models based on different classroom themes. These models highlighted innovative teaching aids, scientific concepts, historical representations, linguistic ideas, geographical models, and socio-economic displays that reflected students’ pedagogical understanding and imagination.
Alongside this, Semester 1 students contributed through a beautiful Wall Magazine Decoration on the theme “Human Rights in Our Everyday Essentials.” The wall magazine included posters, drawings, slogans, and informative write-ups that effectively portrayed the importance of basic human rights in daily life.
Both events created a vibrant learning atmosphere by blending art with education, and helped student-teachers develop skills in presentation, content delivery, creativity, and collaborative work. It was an enriching day that motivated everyone to think innovatively while preparing for their future professional roles as educators.
*• Outcome :* The event proved to be highly enriching for the student-teachers as it helped them understand the importance of creativity and innovation in the teaching–learning process. Through the TLM Exhibition, students learned how different concepts from various subjects can be effectively taught using simple, attractive, and meaningful teaching aids. They gained practical knowledge about material selection, content simplification, and the skill of presenting ideas clearly to learners. The Wall Magazine activity further helped students understand how visual displays can be used to spread awareness on social issues such as human rights. Working together in groups strengthened their cooperation, communication, and planning abilities. Overall, the students learned how creative teaching tools and collaborative activities can make learning more engaging, informative, and impactful for school classrooms.
