The NMC's FMGL 2021 rules require the 12-month internship to be completed at the same institution that awarded the medical degree. Not a partner hospital in another country. Not "we will arrange it later." The same university that gives your child the degree.

Some foreign programmes let students do the internship elsewhere, and some simply leave the arrangement vague in the brochure. That gap can affect whether the degree counts towards registration in India — and by the time a family finds out, six years have already gone.

So before you pay anything, ask the college in writing: where exactly is the internship completed, and is it on the same campus that grants the degree? Then check that written answer against the FMGL 2021 rules yourself on the official NMC website, rather than taking anyone's word for it.
