We are delighted to share that Mr. Puneet Razdan, Head of the Department of Food & Beverage Service, participated in the NITHM–99 Days Praja Palana Action Plan Program – Faculty Development Programme on "Trends in Tourism and Hospitality: Technology Enhancement."

During the FDP, he delivered an insightful session on "Remembering Names for Effective Classroom Communication." The session emphasized how learning and remembering students' names can strengthen teacher-student relationships, enhance classroom engagement, foster inclusivity, and improve overall communication in the learning environment.

The programme served as an excellent platform for knowledge exchange, professional growth, and the exploration of innovative practices in tourism and hospitality education.

It was a pleasure to welcome Mr Dharaniswar Das, Director of People & Culture, and Ms Rupal Mohite, Learning & Development Manager from Novotel Hyderabad Airport to the Institute for a special meet-and-greet interaction.

The visit provided an excellent opportunity for meaningful discussions with the Principal, HoD, and faculty members on industry expectations, talent development, hospitality education, and future collaborations. Their valuable insights and experiences greatly inspired both faculty and students alike.

Ms A. Rachna, HoD, and K. Vamshi, Lecturer, participated in the State Engagement Workshop organised under the India–EU Cooperation and Dialogue on Migration and Mobility (CDMM) Project – Phase II.

The workshop was jointly organised by the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of Telangana; International Labour Organisation, International Centre for Migration Policy Development; and Indian Council of World Affairs. The engagement provided valuable insights into global mobility, migration frameworks, skill ecosystems, and international cooperation, further strengthening academic and industry perspectives in hospitality education. Such participations reflect our institute’s continued commitment towards professional development, global engagement, and meaningful policy dialogue.
