Guru Nanak University Hosts 3rd Orientation Day, Welcomes Engineering Batch 2026โ27
Guru Nanak University successfully conducted its 3rd Orientation Day, welcoming the newly admitted engineering students and their parents for the academic year 2026โ27. The event marked the beginning of an exciting academic journey focused on learning, innovation, skill development, and career readiness.
Addressing the gathering, Sardar Gagandeep Singh Kohli, Chancellor, Guru Nanak University, and Vice-Chairman, Guru Nanak Institutions, encouraged students to make the most of their four years at the University by focusing on academics, skill development, discipline, and continuous self-improvement. He emphasized the importance of preparing for a competitive job market and assured students of the University's continued support for their academic and professional growth.
Dr. H. S. Saini, Vice-Chancellor, Guru Nanak University, highlighted the University's industry-aligned curriculum, research-oriented learning environment, and collaborations with leading organizations such as IBM, SAP, and Intellipaat. He encouraged students to pursue industry certifications and make the most of the opportunities available to enhance their knowledge, skills, and employability.
