BVRIT HYDERABAD is established in the year 2012 with an intake of 240 students. BVRIT HYDERABAD is promoted by Sri Vishnu Educational Society with the aim to enable the girl students to unchain barriers to reach greater heights. BVRIT HYDERABAD is the second Engineering College for women, the first being Sri Vishnu Engineering College for Women in Bhimavaram(www.svecw.edu.in), W.G.Dist. Excellence, which will deliver professional manpower to the industry and the nation at large. The Group has constantly strived to provied the best of the faculty members and state-of-art facilities. The students are encouraged and supported not only to excel in academics, but also to develop their personality through co-curricular, extra-curricular activities and other extension activities.

The Industry–Academia Conclave 2026 was successfully organized by BVRIT Hyderabad
College of Engineering for Women in association with the Society of Women Engineers
(SWE) Student Chapter on 22 August 2026. The conclave brought together students,
faculty, and industry professionals to facilitate meaningful interaction, knowledge sharing,
mentorship, and industry exposure.
The event featured an inspiring Keynote Address by Paul Robichaud, Country Head,SWE India, followed by an engaging Industry Panel Discussion on “AI Beyond Chatbots.” The panel comprised distinguished industry professionals Sonali Dulange
(AMD), Suma Nanjundappa (Medtronic), Parul Agarwal (Micron Technology), and Jhansi Potham (Micron Technology), with the discussion focusing on emerging AI trends, industry expectations, innovation, and future career opportunities.

he Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering successfully conducted a 6-Day Faculty Development Program on “Electric Vehicle Design and Simulation using Ansys Workbench”, in collaboration with AICTE and EduSkills, from 17.08.2026 to 22.08.2026.

The FDP provided participants with valuable hands-on experience in Electric Vehicle (EV) component design and simulation using Ansys Workbench. The sessions covered various aspects of engineering analysis, including structural analysis, static and dynamic analysis, CFD analysis, and thermal analysis of key EV components such as electric motors, chassis, braking systems, suspension systems, and battery systems.

The program also provided broader exposure to the application of Ansys tools in identifying suitable project topics, developing research-oriented projects, and carrying out simulation-based engineering research in the field of Electric Vehicles.
