Housekeeping Training Programme
A focused housekeeping training programme was conducted for staff of Hotel The Manohar, aimed at enhancing their professional skills, service standards, and operational efficiency. The session covered effective housekeeping practices, workplace hygiene, guest service, and safety procedures,use of cleaning agents,and enabling staff to strengthen their knowledge and deliver quality hospitality experiences.

Our 2nd Year students at IHM Shri Shakti participated in an insightful Workshop on Food Adulteration, gaining valuable knowledge about food safety, quality standards, and consumer awareness. Through interactive learning and practical insights, students strengthened their understanding of one of the most important aspects of the hospitality industry.

Our students participated in an engaging Fire Safety and Emergency Response session, gaining practical knowledge of fire prevention, extinguisher handling, and emergency evacuation procedures. The hands-on demonstration enhanced their confidence and preparedness, reinforcing the importance of safety as an essential life skill and a key professional responsibility in the hospitality industry.

🎓Induction Ceremony 2026–27

The Induction Ceremony for the newly admitted students of the B.Sc in Hospitality and Hotel Administration (3-Year Degree Programme) and the 18-Month Craft Course in Food Production and Patisserie (CCFPP) was held on 27th July 2026 at IHM Shri Shakti.

The ceremony was graced by Mr. D. V. Manohar, Chairman and Director, Ms. Satya Pinjala, Executive Director, Ms. Yamuna Ranga Rao, Director, and Ms. Anita Chandran, Principal. The dignitaries welcomed the freshers and encouraged them to pursue excellence, professionalism, and lifelong learning.

The programme included presentations on the NCHMCT curriculum, industrial training and placement opportunities and a showcase of the institute's achievements and vibrant campus life, giving students and parents an insight into the enriching learning environment at IHM Shri Shakti.

The ceremony concluded on an inspiring note, motivating the students to begin their hospitality journey with confidence, commitment, and a spirit of excellence.
