An incredible learning experience unfolded for our students at IHM Shri Shakti during an exclusive W**e Appreciation Session. The masterclass was conducted by our esteemed alumnus, expert natural w**emaker, and global professional Mr. Athmacharan Yerram (Taste of Austria - TOA). Mr. Athmacharan, who holds a specialized Master’s degree from the prestigious University of Padua in Italy and a certified WSET Level 2 Award in W**es, shared his elite European viticulture expertise and led an in-depth discussion on natural w**es, detailing their unique low-intervention and biodynamic production philosophies.
The session featured an interactive w**e tasting where our future hoteliers applied professional sensory techniques to evaluate distinct Austrian varietals. Students also gained valuable insights into the intricate art of food and w**e pairing to elevate the modern dining experience. By combining sustainable w**emaking theory with hands-on practice, our cohort successfully expanded their global beverage vocabulary for successful hospitality careers.
