'As I turn the page, I imagine a book with words that I do not want to read. I am aware of unending curiosity;
a burning sensation in my Germanic throat. I feel the urge to move, to move my arm and to clear the images my brain feeds me.
Indecision and madness split
The person I was happy to call
Me.
Against this sharp cliff,
Is the book: the book with my future.
I refuse to believe this book.
I believe in the possibilities
that got my this far.
The one that comes after, let
me not know. Let me fail,
Il a une vie! C'est à moi!
My body revolts against this knowledge -
I agree.'

From our last writing prompts session, for the prompt 'You come across a book and midway you realise that the book describes all of your life events. You have just reached the page that describes your life events up until that point. You turn the page.'
