Research scholar of University of Hyderabad gets Royal Society of Chemistry Award

Mr. Shaikshavali Petnikota a research scholar working under the supervision of Dr.-Ing. V. V. S. S. Srikanth, School of Engineering Sciences & Technology, University of Hyderabad (UoH) has been presented with the Journal of Materials Chemistry A Best Poster Award by the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC).

Mr. Shaikshavali participated in the International Conference on Advanced Materials for Energy, Environment and Health (ICAM-2016) held at Department of Chemistry, IIT Roorkee during 4-7th March 2016 and presented his PhD thesis work entitled ‘Study of Various Graphene and Metal Oxide Containing Nanocomposites as Anode Materials in Li Ion Batteries’ as a poster in this conference. His research work comprised of very important scientific findings which are helpful in development of advanced negative electrode materials for Li ion batteries. For this high quality work he received the Journal of Materials Chemistry A Best Poster Award from Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC). Additionally he was given one year RSC membership. These findings are already published in various high impact international scientific journals.
