Department Of Astronomy, Osmania University Astronomy is one of the oldest sciences in the world. Space has been studied for thousands of years.

It's the only Department in India which offers Astronomy & Astrophysics courses at master's level and the only University Department with an Observatory that has a 1.2 meter telescope. In the modern world, the fascination with space and astronomy has only increased. It’s important for all to know about astronomy and space so they understand that the universe is a large place with many wonders.
