With the modern technology & scientific methods of education about diamonds, precious and semi-precious gems brought the expertise to the reach of anyone who wishes to acquire this knowledge. Its an art by itself to scientifically identify natural & synthetic diamonds and gems in the form of rough or cut

and polished condition and to evaluate them by its grading. Golconda Institute of Diamonds, first of its kind in our state is spread on 4000 sft area, in the heart of the city. Its mission is to ensure highest standard of professionalism in educating students in Laboratory Services (Gem trade lab) Lapidary (Diamond Cutting and Polishing) all under one roof and maintaining International Standards at every stage of Lab and Lapidary process­. Its lead faculty and technical staff is internationally qualified, trained and experienced. GID is the only Institute which trains participants in Diamond Grading in 24 hours (4 hours daily in 6 days).
