The National Institute of Agricultural Extension Management, popularly known as MANAGE, is a premier institute of national repute set up in 1987 as an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Agriculture, Government of India. s its services in five broad areas. They are Consultancy, Management Training, Research, Information & Documentation services and Management Education. As a part of management education, the 2 year full time PGDM(ABM) (Post Graduate Diploma in Management-Agribusiness Management) was started in the year 1996, a trailblazer programme and a first of its kind in the country. PGDM (ABM) at MANAGE selects the best crop across the country through a stringent multi-tier selection process and trains them in Agribusiness management and Rural marketing. Ever since its inception, the course has done exceedingly well and it has been ranked consistently among the top three Sectoral B-Schools in India. It is currently ranked 1st in Agribusiness Management in India by Outlook - MDRA Best B School Survey 2012. It is also ranked 8th Best B-School in terms of Industry Interface by Business World Best B School Survey 2013.
