BIT Sindri was started as College of Mechanical & Electrical Engineering in 1949 at Patna. A year down the line, it was shifted to Sindri in 1950 and thus BIT Sindri was born. In the modern era, it is one of leading institutions in India built in lush green & sprawling 500 acres campus. It has a dedicated buildings for each of the engineering branches - M

echanical, Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science, Metallurgy, Civil, Mining, Chemical, Production & IT. Over 300 UG & PG students pass out every year and are working across the globe. BIT Sindri also leverages on the creativity that every student brings in.
