In what is (arguably) one of the most inspiring law school-movies of all time, Legally Blonde ;), someone tells the main character played by Reese Witherspoon that "Law school is for people who are boring and ugly and serious".

The Researchers prove to the world that NALSAR students are anything but those things. Made up of Mark Papang, Sanchit Verma & Pranshul Joshi, the band is the embodiment of talent.

NALSAR is nearly 30kms away from Secunderabad. It is possible to find accomodation in Secundrabad at hotels such as Ohris Basera or Purple Leaf. (you can look on makemytrip for more hotels!)

There are also some (slightly expensive) places to stay in Shamirpet such as Leonia Resort and Alankrita.

You may also consider staying at Haritha Resort and Antlers Resort which are close to NALSAR. Please do visit these places before making a decision.

It might be possible to rent one of NALSAR's guestrooms, please contact NALSAR to see if they are available. (Please ask for Mr. Sudhir).

It is possible to reach NALSAR from the airport from the Outer Ring Road (it'll take less time because of less traffic but it will cost more because more distance) or through the city (It might take 2-2.5 hours to reach). You can take a Yellow Cab or Meru which will cost 1500-2000. From airport to NALSAR, you can also take a can from the prepaid police-run taxi stand and it costs around 900.

Ola and Uber do not run till Shamirpet. The last they go till is Alwal, which is around 10 kms away from NALSAR.

You can also take autos and buses from Secunderabad, Kharkhana, Secbad Station and Jubilee Bus Stand. Auto from Jubilee Bus Stand costs around 400 one way.

Mooting is one of the most popular and exciting co-curricular activities in law school. It takes one a step nearer to the inherent creativity and fun in litigation. From court mannerism to the skills of effective argumentation and from comprehensive research to handling the grilling by the judges, it's one of the activities that shouldn't be given a miss in law school. and of course, its always fun to dress up in snazzy formal clothes!

In Nalsar, we have in place a Moot Court Committee selected every academic year, which handles everything related to mooting. Every batch has a moot representative selected through annual elections and these representatives form the committee.

The committee holds the Annual Selection Moot in July-August every year, from which a selection team is formed and selected people are allotted national moots for the coming year. There are separate open challenges for international moots and national moots not covered within the selection pool. there are separate open challenges.

Mooting as an activity is well balanced with the academic workload. For instance, a team representing Nalsar in a moot is entitled to receive project exemptions and exam exemptions in case of clashes with the Moot schedule.

Nalsar has its own set of prestigious national moots that take place annually -the BR Sawhney Moot and the NFCG Moot.

Nalsar has a rich mooting culture, with considerable achievements in best moots across the world.

The Moot Committee page contains more information about our victories throughout the years!
