Guru Nanak Institutions Technical Campus - School of Engineering and Technology is merger of Guru Nanak Engineering College and Guru Nanak Institute of Engineering and Technology. The school of Engineering & Technology is having Eight UG courses in Engineering (Aeronautical, Civil, Computer Sciences, ECE, EEE, Mechanical, Information Technology and Automobile engineering) and six PG courses (DECS,
DCES, CSE, IT, Software Engineering, CAD/CAM,) with an intake of 1128 students. Guru Nanak Engineering College is one of the premier institutions in Andhra Pradesh having started in the year 2001 by Guru Nanak Educational Society under the chairmanship of philanthropist Sardar Tavinder Singh Kohli. Guru Nanak Engineering College (GNEC) is promoted by the Guru Nanak Educational Society, which was founded to educate and empower the youth who play a decisive role in shaping the destiny of the nation. The College was established in the year 2001 with an objective to impart quality education to students in the field of Technology and Management studies. The college is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) Hyderabad. Within a short span, GNEC got Accreditation from National Board of Accreditation (NBA). The institution has achieved ISO 9001:2000 certification and is well-equipped with qualified teaching professionals. GNEC has emerged as one of the Premier Engineering College in the State with an overall intake of 792 students in various undergraduates and post graduates courses including BTech, MTech, MBA and MCA.
