World Pharmacist Day Celebration 2026

Theme: Empowering Pharmacist for Healthier Futures

Focus: Antimicrobial Resistance

As part of the celebration, a Model Exhibition & Scitoons was organized, in which students showcased innovative and creative models highlighting various aspects of antimicrobial resistance.

The activities were acknowledged and appreciated by the Dean, Pharmacy, Dr. (Prof.) Sudha Vengurlekar, and the Principal, OCPR, Dr. (Prof.) Sachin K. Jain , who encouraged the students for their innovative efforts and active participation.

The event was further enriched by the presence of external judges, Dr. Dipti Malpani and Dr. Asharam Pal , who evaluated the students’ models and presentations. The students enthusiastically presented their concepts and explained the scientific significance of their models and SciToons to the judges.

The event was successfully coordinated by Dr. Shilpa Khambete, Dr. Nikita Kale, Dr. Sandeep Mukati, and Ms. Ekata Prajapati , whose dedicated efforts, coordination, and guidance contributed significantly to the successful ex*****on of the event.

The celebration provided students with a valuable platform to demonstrate their scientific knowledge, creativity, innovation, teamwork, and presentation skills .
