| IIM Indore’s global network grows stronger in Spain!

Taking another step towards expanding our international presence, we have signed an MoU with EADA Business School Barcelona: our second academic partnership in Spain.

Signed by our Director, Prof. Himanshu Rai, and Dr. Jordi Díaz, Dean and Director General of EADA Business School Barcelona, the agreement opens new avenues for student and faculty exchanges, joint research, academic activities, and the exploration of joint programmes and dual degrees.

With this partnership, IIM Indore continues to strengthen its global academic network, connecting India with leading institutions across Europe and creating more opportunities for our students, faculty, and researchers to learn, collaborate, and grow across borders.

We look forward to building a meaningful India-Spain academic partnership through shared knowledge, research, and new opportunities.

This is what the paper by Prof. Prabin Kumar Panigrahi and Prof. Himanshu Rai, along with co-authors, explores.

Published in Enterprise Information Systems (ABDC-A), the study proposes an optimized deep learning framework that combines social media and news content features to improve fake news detection.

As the information we encounter online becomes harder to verify at a glance, advances in AI can help build better tools to identify potentially false information and make our digital spaces more trustworthy.
