***Government Excellence MHOW wins the title***
Indore; Government Excellence Higher Secondary school Mhow won the thrilling finals against Government H S School, Dakachia by four wickets in Next-G Inter school cricket tournament organized by RKDF group of colleges being played at their grounds on Thursday.
Government Excellence H S School captain won the toss and opted to field first. His move paid him dividend for his team as opponent team started losing wickets at regular intervals. At one time Dakachia team were struggling at 66/8 due to sloppy fielding and catching of Mhow team, Dakachia batsmen could able to score 87/10.
Subesh bowled brilliantly and capture three wickets. In reply Dakachia bowlers bowled accurately and pushed Mhow team in to back foot. At one time Mhow team were struggling at 59/6 in 10th over. Manish Singh showed his class and swung his bat and scored brisk 54 runs which helped his team to surpass the required runs after losing six wickets in the last over of the match. Government Excellence HS School won the match by four wickets and lifted the glittering trophy and cash prize award of Rs.11000. Manish Singh won the man of the match award while Deepak Singh won the man of the series.
Former international cricketers Amay Khurasiya was the chief guest and gave away the prizes to winners and runners-up. College group director Dr N K Dubey along with college CEO Deepika Pathak and CAO Gulshan Kapoor presided over the function.
