Data Security Workshop at SUAS

The School of Data Science at Symbiosis University of Applied Sciences, Indore, hosted a hands-on Data Security Workshop led by cybersecurity experts from Surtel Technologies, Indore.

The interactive session connected classroom concepts with real-world cybersecurity practices through live demonstrations of Nmap for network mapping and vulnerability scanning, Hashcat for understanding password security, and social engineering techniques used in cyberattacks.

The workshop empowered students with practical cybersecurity skills, deeper awareness of evolving digital threats, and valuable insights into securing modern digital infrastructure.

Day 2 of CAMPUS UNLEASHED turned the campus into a full-blown BGMI battleground!

Four intense rounds, four winning teams, and a hall buzzing with students watching every drop, push and final circle on the big screen. The watch party transformed the tournament into a shared experience—cheering, celebrating and living every moment together.

The day ended on a high as our Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Mishra Durgesh, was felicitated and presented prizes to the winning teams. Seeing our champions proudly hold their ₹10,000 Champions Cheque was a moment of celebration and confidence.

Congratulations to all the winners, and a huge shoutout to every student who participated with incredible enthusiasm. This event was truly theirs!

CAMPUS UNLEASHED — Day 1

Day 1 of CAMPUS UNLEASHED — the BGMI Fest at Symbiosis University of Applied Sciences, Indore was packed with gaming, excitement and high-energy experiences!

From thrilling BGMI battles to Monster Energy activations, push-up challenges and remote car racing, the campus was buzzing with competition, fun and engagement.

The day was further made special by the presence of our Hon'ble Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr Durgesh Mishra, and Director, School of Retail Management, Prof. Dr Mini Mathur, who interacted with and encouraged our students.

A perfect blend of esports, experiential marketing and student engagement!

Industry Exposure | B.Tech CSIT

On August 19, 2026, first-year B.Tech CSIT students visited Parkhya Solutions Ltd. at Sinhasa IT Park, Indore, gaining valuable insights into the real-world applications of technology.

The visit introduced students to software development, mobile applications, AI, Machine Learning, IoT, cloud technologies, e-commerce, and automation. An engaging interaction with the technical leadership and HR team further highlighted the importance of teamwork, continuous learning, adaptability, and strong coding fundamentals.

A meaningful step towards transforming classroom learning into industry-ready skills!
