Felicitation of IT Students for Winning National GRASP Hackathon at Prime
Minister’s Office, New Delhi. Students from the Information Technology (IT) department of Rajarambapu Institute of Technology have brought pride to the institute by winning the prestigious National GRASP 2026 Hackathon. Ms. Vaishnavi Patil, Mr. Abhishek Patil, and Mr. Ganesh Mahadik, final-year CSIT
students, were felicitated at the Ministry office located in North Block, Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), New Delhi, by the Chief Economic Advisor of India, Dr. V. Anantha Nageswaran, and the Secretary of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Shri S. Krishnan, for their outstanding achievement and were awarded a cash prize of ₹1,00,000 for their outstanding achievement. The team developed an AI-powered chatbot designed to support parents of autistic children. The project was highly appreciated for its innovation, societal relevance, and practical applicability. The students were guided by Mrs. Vijaylaxmi U. Patil and Dr. Amol C. Adamuthe, Head of the Department of Information Technology, whose mentorship played a vital role in the team's success.
