The initiatives of the Government of India and TamilNadu have been creating profound awareness about Startup ventures through various platforms. The significance of startups and innovation, and their potential to transform the economic and social landscape are being propagated with a positive spirit, bold and healthy vision. As a result of these initiatives, Startups have become a mainstream activity in TamilNadu and India. Our Honorable Prime Minister also urged the use of competition to foster creativity and gave a clarion call to the nation to make “Innovate India”, a mass movement.

In order to give life to these visionary initiatives in our state, CII-Yi Erode Zone, Nativelead Angel Network (NAN) and Technology Business Incubator of Kongu Engineering College (TBI@KEC) have been organizing “STARTUP MANIA”, an annual “Business Model Idea Contest” along with “Erode Entrepreneurship Conclave” successfully for the last three years.

4th Edition of “Startup Mania 4.0 - 2020” Idea cm Business plan competition was officially launched on 17.08.2019 by Mr.Gokul Shrinivas Founder & CEO – Minionlabs at Kongu Engineering College. The winners of this competition will be awarded with total cash prizes of Rs.1 Lakh sponsored by Entrepreneurship Development and Innovation Institute (EDII), GoTN and will have the chance to get incubation and funding assistance.

Who can participate?

Category 1: Students - UG/PG Students of Engineering & Agri College, Medical College, B-Schools, Arts & Science Colleges, Polytechnic colleges.
Category 2: Others - Aspiring young innovators, Graduates, Budding Startupreneurs, Startups, Entrepreneurs and working professionals.

Greetings from KPIT Technologies. I, Sant Ranjan from KPIT Technologies Ltd. Pune, am part of KPIT Sparkle team. It gives me great honor to introduce KPIT Sparkle 2020, the 6th edition of Annual Innovation contest for All India Engineering, Management, Design and Science full time Students right from first year of graduation till doctoral level. The entry to competition is totally free with prizes for winning teams including mentors is up to Rs. 31 Lakhs (refer enclosed e-brochure).
