An Innovation & Startup Competition 2026 was successfully organised today i.e on 20.07.2026 at Adikavi SaralaDas College, Tirtol, providing a platform for undergraduate students to showcase their creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurial ideas.
The competition focused on encouraging students to develop practical solutions in diverse areas such as Technology & Digital Solutions, Sustainability & Environment, Health & Wellness, Agriculture & Rural Development, Education & Skill Development, and Social Impact & Community Welfare.
Students enthusiastically presented their innovative projects before the judges, demonstrating creativity,problem-solving abilities, and a spirit of entrepreneurship. The event aimed to inspire young minds to transform their ideas into impactful ventures that can contribute to society and the nation's development.

The competition also featured attractive prizes for the top three winners, while all participants received certificates in recognition of their efforts. The programme concluded with appreciation for the participants and organizers for making the event a success, reinforcing the message:

Principal-In-Charge Assumes Charge at Adikavi Sarala Das College, Tirtol
Tirtol, 20 July 2026:

Mr. Ananta Charan Acharya, Reader in Political Science of SVM College, Jagatsinghpur, joined Adikavi Sarala Das College, Tirtol as Principal In-Charge on 20 July 2026 (A.N.) following his transfer.
On the occasion, the outgoing Principal In-Charge, Sj. Nalinikanta Pattnaik, Reader in Logic & Philosophy of Adikavi Sarala Das College, formally handed over the charge to Mr. Acharya. Subsequently, Sj. Pattnaik was transferred to Prasanna Purushottam Dev Mahavidyalaya, Tigiria, Cuttack, where he joined as Principal In-Charge.
The faculty members, teaching and non-teaching staff of the college extended a warm welcome to Mr. Acharya and conveyed their best wishes to both Principals for success in their new assignments.
