The University Grants Commission (UGC) organized a one-day workshop “Women Leaders: Shaping Academic Excellence for VIKSIT Bharat @2047” on 13th December 2024 at Dogra Hall, IIT Delhi.

The event marked a significant milestone in empowering women leaders in higher education and aligning academic excellence with the vision of a developed India by 2047. A total of 724 women leaders from various academic roles across the country participated in the workshop. The attendees included directors, deans, heads of departments, registrars, financial officers, and controllers of examinations.

Discussions centered around the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and its initiatives aimed at promoting gender inclusivity in higher education. Key initiatives included:

Gender Inclusion Fund: Promoting equitable opportunities for women in education.
GATI: Ensuring institutional growth and gender parity.
Vidyanjali Programme: Encouraging community participation to enhance educational standards.
The speakers highlighted the importance of women’s leadership in driving innovation, fostering inclusivity, and shaping academic excellence for the future.

UEM Jaipur proudly participated in this prestigious workshop, with the following representatives contributing to the discussions and gaining valuable insights:

Today, with profound sorrow, we bid farewell to our beloved Chancellor Sir, Dr. Prof. Satyajit Chakrabarti, who left for his heavenly abode early this morning.

A visionary leader, a guiding light, and the heart of the IEM-UEM family, Chancellor Sir dedicated his life to transforming education and inspiring countless individuals. His extraordinary contributions and relentless pursuit of excellence have left an indelible mark on all of us.

While his physical presence will be deeply missed, his wisdom, values, and dreams will continue to guide us forever. His legacy lives on through the lives he touched and the countless achievements of this institution that he so dearly nurtured.

May his soul rest in eternal peace, and may we all strive to uphold his vision and ideals.

We will miss you, Sir. 😭😭🙏🙏

All departments of UEM JAIPUR - B.Tech departments of CSE, ECE, Mechanical, Civil, Electrical and the BPT, BCA, MBA and BBA departments have launched their departmental magazines, and it was quite a celebration, as it consisted of articles, drawings, writings, poems by students, teachers and staff members of the department. We are thankful to each one of you our dear students and colleagues for your continued efforts towards the betterment of your university.

The final day of the 12th IEMECON 2024 (26th October, 2024) marked the conclusion of a successful and inspiring event, with an online technical session followed by a hybrid-mode valedictory function.
After the technical sessions, the valedictory function brought together attendees, faculty, and students, celebrating the achievements and collaborative spirit of the conference. During the ceremony Head of the ECE Department, felicitated Prof. G. Uma Devi in recognition of her invaluable support and contributions to the conference. Prof. G. Uma Devi also announced the Best Paper Award for IEMECON 2024, celebrating the high-quality research presented by participants.
Prof. Biswajoy Chatterjee, Vice Chancellor, UEM Jaipur and Dr. Mukesh Yadav, Associate Dean shared their experiences and reflections on the conference, highlighting its success in fostering insightful discussions and advancing research in the fields of IoT, microwave, embedded systems, and communications. Participants also expressed their positive experiences, appreciating the conference’s organization, technical content, and networking opportunities.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Prashant Ranjan, who extended his gratitude to all participants, student volunteers, and faculty members whose dedication and efforts contributed to the conference's resounding success. The 12th IEMECON 2024 ended on a high note, marking another milestone for UEM Jaipur in promoting innovation and research excellence.

From UEM JAIPUR, we have started free Digital Literacy Program at different rural Govt. schools for imparting Computer and IT Literacy to rural children, and also at Panchayat offices where rural people in general, can come and attend. These are few scenes of the same. I genuinely believe that Computer Knowledge with genuine IT Literacy for rural people is very important as a step of our progress towards Viksh*t Bharat by 2047.

InkFluence : A T-Shirt Painting Competition at University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur

On the 14th of September, 2024, the Entrepreneurship-Cell of University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur proudly hosted InkFluence, an engaging and creative T-shirt painting competition. Each participant was provided with a kit that included a white T-shirt 👕, acrylic paints 🎨 , and brushes 🖌️. Students let their imaginations soar as they painted their own designs, showcasing their artistic flair and creativity.

The excitement doesn't stop there! The painted T-shirts will be Auctioned later, allowing bidders to own these unique masterpieces while supporting our cause 🖼️💼.

109 senior corporates from all across Rajasthan visited UEM JAIPUR campus and had a great interaction in the form of panel discussions at the HR Congress themed "Decoding the Future of Recruitment with AI and Other Emerging Technologies," on Saturday, 14th September 2024.

The theme was "Decoding the Future of Recruitment with AI and other Emerging Technologies".
