World Physiotherapy Day Celebrated at Jayoti Vidyapeeth Women’s University on September 8, 2025
The Faculty of Physiotherapy and Diagnostics, Jayoti Vidyapeeth Women’s University, Jaipur, celebrated World Physiotherapy Day with great enthusiasm and active participation from students and faculty members. The celebration aimed at creating awareness about the significance of physiotherapy in promoting health, well-being, and quality of life.
The event commenced with a formal welcome of university dignitaries, followed by a brief introduction highlighting the theme of World Physiotherapy Day 2025 and its relevance to today’s healthcare scenario. Students from the Faculty showcased their talents and awareness through a series of engaging activities, reflecting their knowledge, creativity, and commitment to the physiotherapy profession.
A vibrant cultural program set the tone of the celebration, followed by a powerful Nukkad Natak (street play) performed by students. The play emphasized the importance of physiotherapy in the prevention and rehabilitation of lifestyle-related disorders and raised awareness about its accessibility to the community.
Further, students delivered PowerPoint presentations on various topics related to physiotherapy innovations, techniques, and their impact on patient care. These presentations not only enhanced academic learning but also provided a platform for students to showcase their research and communication skills.
One of the major highlights of the day was the exhibition of models and charts, where students demonstrated different aspects of physiotherapy, including anatomy, rehabilitation techniques, and innovative therapeutic practices. Visitors appreciated the exhibits for their clarity, creativity, and practical approach in explaining complex concepts.
The celebration concluded with a vote of thanks, acknowledging the efforts of faculty, students, and participants for making the event successful and insightful.
