Call for Abstracts | ICETICS 2026

The Department of Chemistry, Manipal University Jaipur is pleased to invite researchers, faculty members, students and industry professionals to the International Conference on Emerging Trends and Innovations in Chemical Sciences (ICETICS 2026) on 17–18 December 2026. Brochure - ICETICS 2026

The conference will provide a platform for sharing emerging research across organic and medicinal chemistry, materials and nanoscience, green chemistry, energy, chemical biology, computational and quantum chemistry, and artificial intelligence in chemical sciences, among other areas.

The programme will feature keynote presentations, oral presentations, poster sessions and exhibitions, creating opportunities for scientific exchange and collaboration.

Last date for abstract submission: 15 October 2026

Manipal University Jaipur earns the QS 5-Star Global Rating!

We are proud to celebrate this significant international recognition, valid until 14 July 2029.

MUJ received 5-Star ratings in 11 individual criteria, spanning Teaching, Research, Employability, Entrepreneurship, Good Governance, Environmental Impact, Innovation & Knowledge Transfer, Academic Development and Social Impact, among others.

Another research publication from the Department of Chemistry, Manipal University Jaipur!

We congratulate PhD scholars Adeeba Khan and Palak Dawar and Dr Suranjan De, faculty, Department of Chemistry, on the publication of their latest research article: “A colorimetric–fluorometric rhodamine-thiohydantoin probe for Fe³⁺ ion sensing and COS-7 live-cell imaging”

The work, published in Elsevier’s Journal of Photochemistry and Photobiology A: Chemistry, reports the development of a fluorescent molecular probe for the sensitive detection of Fe³⁺ ions. Importantly, the researchers also demonstrated its application for fluorescence imaging of Fe³⁺ in living COS-7 cells.

The publication represents a collaborative research effort involving Manipal University Jaipur, IIT Gandhinagar, ICT Mumbai and BITS Pilani.
