TECHNOVATE Hub: Building the Future with Cloud & DevOps!
Manipal University Jaipur successfully conducted the two-day TECHNOVATE Hub Training Program on “Secure Cloud & DevOps Innovation using Microsoft Azure”, under the joint initiative of AICTE and the Consortium for Technical Education (CTE).
The program was inaugurated by Dr. Nitu Bhatnagar, Provost, MUJ, and hosted by Dr. Surbhi Sharma, SPOC of the event.
Day 1 focused on Cloud Computing Fundamentals, Azure Global Infrastructure, Microsoft Entra ID, Role-Based Access Control, Azure Key Vault, Microsoft Defender for Cloud and Microsoft Sentinel, complemented by hands-on learning with Virtual Machines, Virtual Networks, Storage Accounts and Blobs.
Day 2 took participants deeper into Azure App Service, Web App Deployment, Git, Azure Repos, Azure Boards, CI/CD and YAML Pipelines. An end-to-end CI/CD pipeline demonstration and hands-on session provided valuable practical exposure, followed by a career roadmap and interactive Q&A.
The program concluded with a Valedictory Session, where Dr. Anand Pandey, Dr. Surbhi Sharma and Dr. Upendra Kulshrestha felicitated the resource person in appreciation of the valuable industry knowledge and insights shared.
Certificates were also distributed to participating students, recognising their active participation and commitment to learning.
Manipal University Jaipur extends sincere appreciation to AICTE, CTE, the resource person and all participants for contributing to the success of this enriching learning experience.

Faculty Orientation at MUJ!
Day 1 of the Faculty Orientation Program on “Organizational Values, Process, Policies and Best Practices”, jointly organized by MUJ-TEC and the HR Department, concluded on a warm and inspiring note at Manipal University Jaipur.
The session provided our newly joined faculty members with valuable insights into MUJ’s institutional values, leadership, processes and best practices, laying a strong foundation for their journey ahead.
A heartfelt thanks to our Hon’ble President Prof. N. N. Sharma, Provost Prof. Nitu Bhatnagar and Registrar Prof. Amit Soni for their presence, guidance and warm welcome.

Pitch Fest: Incubation Week 6.0, bringing together aspiring entrepreneurs, innovative ideas, and the vibrant startup ecosystem of MUJ.
With 70+ startup registrations and 25+ startups selected for Pre-Incubation, the week witnessed an incredible response from the student startup community.
The selected startups will now embark on their entrepreneurial journey with access to pre-incubation support, mentorship, guidance, and the AIC-MUJ startup ecosystem.

Exploring the Universe, Inspiring the Future!
India Space Week 2026 | 12–18 August
Theme: “Space Education and Research”
Manipal University Jaipur marked India Space Week 2026 with a week-long celebration of space science, research, innovation and exploration, commemorating the birth anniversary of Dr. Vikram Sarabhai, the visionary architect of India’s space programme.
The week brought together students and enthusiasts through a diverse range of engaging activities, including Cosmic Capture, Wear the Universe, Whispers of the Universe, Habitat 2050, a debate on “Lunar Lier,” an expert talk on Chandrayaan-3’s ChaSTE payload, and hands-on Drone Design & Flying Training.
A special expert session by Dr. Suresh Raju C. Pillai, Former Senior Scientist, VSSC, ISRO, offered valuable insights into “From Concept-to-Moon: ChaSTE Payload Development and Lunar Soil Thermal Characterization from Chandrayaan-3 Lander Platform.”
The celebrations concluded with a Felicitation Ceremony honouring the winners and participants of the various competitions and activities.
From understanding the mysteries of the cosmos to designing technologies for tomorrow, India Space Week 2026 at MUJ inspired young minds to look beyond the horizon and dream bigger.

From Sustainability to Solutions: ICAST-2026 Begins at MUJ!
A powerful national dialogue on sustainable technology, innovation and India’s green growth journey has begun at Manipal University Jaipur (MUJ) with the inauguration of the International Conference on Advanced Sustainable Technologies (ICAST-2026).
Organised by the Department of Biotechnology and Chemical Engineering, MUJ, with the Indian Chemical Council (ICC) as industry partner and sponsored by the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF), the three-day international conference, being held from 19–21 August 2026, brings together around 250 participants and 18 keynote and invited speakers from academia and industry across the world.
The inaugural ceremony was graced by Shri V. Srinivas, Chief Secretary, Government of Rajasthan, as Chief Guest, with Padma Shri Prof. G. D. Yadav, Emeritus Professor of Eminence and Former Vice Chancellor, ICT Mumbai, as Guest of Honour. Prof. N. N. Sharma, President, MUJ, presided over the ceremony. Dr. Amit Soni, Registrar; Dr. Nitu Bhatnagar, Provost; Dr. Kuldip Singh Sangwan, Dean, Faculty of Science, Technology & Architecture; and Dr. Ravi Kant Gupta, Associate Dean, were also present.
From green hydrogen, renewable energy and circular economy to advanced materials, biotechnology, AI and digital technologies, ICAST-2026 is exploring how cutting-edge research can translate into scalable solutions for India’s environmental, industrial and developmental challenges.

MUJ students emerged as Finalist at the Grand Finale of the Dell FutureMinds AI Hackathon, competing against 6,000+ students from 20+ colleges across India. The finale was held at the Dell Technologies EGL Campus, Bengaluru, providing students an opportunity to showcase their innovation before industry experts. Their project, Dell PartVision AI, leverages Computer Vision, OCR, rule-based validation, and Gemini 2.5 Flash for intelligent hardware inspection. This achievement reflects MUJ students’ creativity, technical excellence, innovation, and ability to develop impactful AI-driven solutions.

A Taste of Culture, A Recipe for Connection!
IAESTE LC Manipal University Jaipur brought the world to our campus through an extraordinary Culinary Workshop, celebrating food, friendship, and cross-cultural learning.
International interns from Oman 🇴🇲, Austria 🇦🇹, Iran 🇮🇷, Palestine 🇵🇸, and Jordan 🇯🇴 took center stage, sharing their rich culinary heritage through hands-on cooking and authentic flavors. From exploring traditional recipes to working side-by-side in the kitchen, the event was filled with incredible food, laughter, and meaningful collaboration.
A key highlight was the presence of the MUJ Leadership, who joined the festivities and tasted the global dishes crafted by our talented interns. The afternoon concluded on a delicious note with a specially prepared lunch courtesy of the MUJ Hotel Management team.

Creating a Safe, Secure & Inclusive Workplace at MUJ!
Manipal University Jaipur conducted a comprehensive Awareness Programme on POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment) in multiple phases and across different employee groups to ensure extensive participation and awareness throughout the University.
The sessions were conducted by Ms. Swati, External POSH Expert, and Prof. (Dr.) Vijay Laxmi Sharma, Director, MUJ-TEC focused on sensitising employees about workplace safety, dignity, rights, responsibilities and the mechanisms available for addressing concerns related to sexual harassment.
Conducted in accordance with the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013, the programme reinforced MUJ’s commitment to fostering a safe, respectful, inclusive and enabling work environment free from sexual harassment.
Through awareness, sensitisation and collective responsibility, MUJ continues to strengthen a culture where respect, dignity and safety remain paramount.
