ABHIVARTA 2026 | LET THE GAMES BEGIN!
The campus of Manipal University Jaipur came alive with energy, enthusiasm and sporting spirit as Abhivarta 2026, the much-awaited sports celebration, was inaugurated with great zeal and excitement.
The opening ceremony was graced by Cdr. (Dr.) Anil Rana, Pro-President, MUJ, whose inspiring address encouraged students to embrace sportsmanship, and the spirit of healthy competition.
Prof. Madhura Yadav, Dean – Students’ Welfare, MUJ, also addressed the gathering, motivating student athletes to participate with enthusiasm, confidence and a spirit of teamwork.
The ceremony brought together esteemed dignitaries, coaches, faculty members, and passionate student athletes, setting the stage for days of exciting competition and unforgettable sporting moments.
From the ceremonial oath to the inspiring addresses, the event celebrated the values that make sport truly meaningful- discipline, teamwork, respect, perseverance, and the courage to give your best.
But this is just the beginning!

IC5G 2026 | International Conference on 5G for Sustainable Development!
The Department of Business Administration, TAPMI School of Business, in association with the Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE), Manipal University Jaipur, is organising IC5G 2026 on 28–29 September 2026 in hybrid mode at Manipal University Jaipur.
The conference will bring together diverse perspectives on Green Development, Global Connectivity, Governance, Growth, Grand Challenges, and Social Welfare & Inclusive Societies, fostering interdisciplinary dialogue on the opportunities and challenges shaping a sustainable, connected and inclusive future.

Empowering Educators with AI for the Future!
The Department of Computer Science & Engineering, Manipal University Jaipur (MUJ), successfully organised a five-day Faculty Development Program (FDP) on “Artificial Intelligence for Emerging Technologies: Applications, Innovation & Future Trends” from 21–25 September 2026.
Conducted in hybrid mode in collaboration with E&ICT Academy, C-DAC Mohali, under the E&ICT Academy Scheme sponsored by Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India, the FDP brought together faculty members, researchers, trainers and academicians for expert-led sessions, practical learning and meaningful discussions on contemporary AI applications.
The program explored AI across agriculture, biomedical applications, education and Industry 4.0, with sessions on precision agriculture, soil, weather and yield prediction, farm automation and other emerging technologies.
With participation from distinguished experts from MNIT Jaipur, Banasthali Vidyapith, C-DAC Mohali, Victoria University Australia–Delhi NCR Campus, NIT Kurukshetra and IIT Ropar, the FDP strengthened the focus on interdisciplinary research, innovation, industry–academia collaboration and future-ready AI skills.

The Directorate of Student Welfare (DSW), Manipal University Jaipur, is all set to host its Annual Sports Fest ABHIVARTA 2026 from 26–28 September 2026 at the MUJ campus.

With 1200+ student-athletes from universities and colleges, the three-day sporting extravaganza will witness thrilling competitions across Cricket, Football, Basketball, Tennis, Volleyball, Squash, Table Tennis, Chess and Powerlifting in Men’s and Women’s categories.

We are delighted to share that Dr. Chef Saurabh Sharma has been honoured with the prestigious title of “Culinary Ambassador of India” at the ChefEX & CAFR Chefs Conclave 2026, held in Chandigarh.
Organised jointly by the Chefs Association of Five Rivers (CAFR) and the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry, with the support of the Government of Punjab, the landmark national summit brought together leading voices from the culinary and hospitality ecosystem to foster culinary innovation, heritage research and sustainable gastronomy.

Celebrating World Bamboo Day 2026 at Manipal University Jaipur!
On World Bamboo Day 2026, Manipal University Jaipur, proudly showcased an inspiring Exhibition of Bamboo Art and Design, celebrating the versatility, craftsmanship, creativity, and sustainable potential of bamboo as a contemporary design material.
The exhibition presented the outcomes of an immersive, hands-on bamboo workshop, where students explored the material through making, experimentation, craftsmanship, joinery, shaping, splitting, weaving, and prototyping. The experience encouraged students to understand bamboo not merely as a traditional material, but as an innovative and environmentally responsible resource for architecture, interior design, furniture, product design, and spatial applications.
Students from the Architecture, Interior, Fashion and User Experience and Interactive Design enthusiastically participated throughout the workshop, transforming raw bamboo into creative and functional design expressions. The process provided valuable exposure to material exploration, traditional craftsmanship, sustainable practices, and learning through making.
The workshop was coordinated by Mr. N. Tondonsana, Assistant Professor, with the valuable assistance of Ar. Kush Jee Kamal, Assistant Professor, and Mr. Tilak Raj, Lab In-charge. Their collective efforts, technical guidance, and continuous support played an important role in creating an engaging and enriching learning experience for the students.
We sincerely acknowledge the association and support of ASHRAE Student Chapter and IGBC student Chapter of MUJ for their contribution towards strengthening awareness and dialogue around sustainable materials, climate-responsive design, green building practices, and environmentally responsible built environments.
