• Establish hospitals including tertiary referral centers, specialty and super-specialty clinics, maternity homes and RCH centers.

• Establish educational and research Institutions for Medical and other Allied Health Professionals.

• Promote activities of other educational Institutions which are catering and improving public health at large. SALIENT FEATURES:

• Mahatma Gandhi Hospital is one of the most preferred hospital in the State having renowned and well experienced faculty. This hospital offers Super Specialties, Specialties, Diagnostic & Emergency Services with 1450 beds, 350+ critical care beds and 33 operation theatres.

• It has a State-of-Art infrastructure with students coming from different parts of the country, and even overseas.

• It is a pioneer institute in the field of organ transplant in the State of Rajasthan.

• It has the first and biggest centre of telemedicine in Rajasthan working as the State Nodal Centre.

The opening ceremony of World Oral Health Day 2026 at Mahatma Gandhi Dental College & Hospital, Jaipur was successfully organised on 27th March at MGUMST Jaipur, marking the beginning of a month-long celebration from 20th March to 20th April 2026.

• With this year’s theme “A Happy Mouth is a Happy Life”, the event began on an enthusiastic note with the presence of the mascot Toothie The Beaver, creating an engaging and vibrant atmosphere among students and faculty. 🎉

Honorable Dr. Narendra Padiyaar, Principal, addressed the gathering, emphasizing the importance of continuous oral health awareness initiatives. An insightful lecture by Dr. Sumanth Prasad Gojanur highlighted the strong connection between oral health and overall well-being, along with plans for the month-long activities.
