Educational Visit to the Department of Kriya Sharir, NIA Jaipur :
On 10th July 2026, first-year UG students of Government Ayurveda College, Jaipur, accompanied by Dr. Anita Bhardwaj, Associate Professor, Department of Kriya Sharir, and Dr. Ashwini Trivedi, Associate Professor, Department of Rachana Sharir, visited the Department of Kriya Sharir, National Institute of Ayurveda (Deemed to be University), Jaipur as part of an educational tour.
Prof. (Dr.) C. R. Yadav, Dean (Ph.D.) & Head, Department of Kriya Sharir, warmly welcomed the students and the accompanying faculty members and introduced them to the department, its academic activities, and advanced facilities. Prof. Mahendra Prasad conducted an informative session highlighting the scope of Kriya Sharir and future research opportunities. The students were then guided through the department and the Advanced Human Physiology Laboratory by Dr. Bhanu Pratap Singh, Senior Assistant Professor, Dr. Rashmi Prakash Gurao, Assistant Professor, and Dr. Rohan Verma, Assistant Professor, making the visit an enriching academic experience.

The Department of Kriya Sharir, National Institute of Ayurveda, Jaipur organized a Vitiligo Awareness & Consultation Camp at OPD No. 3, Charak Bhawan to promote awareness, provide patient counseling, and dispel myths associated with vitiligo.

The camp was inaugurated by Prof. Udayraj Saroj in the esteemed presence of Prof. Ajay Sahu, Prof. Gopesh Mangal, Prof. Harish Bhakuni, Dr. Vishal Prajapati, and Dr. Vishwanath.

The awareness and consultation services were provided by the faculty members of the Department of Kriya Sharir: Prof. (Dr.) C. R. Yadav, Prof. Mahendra Prasad, Dr. Bhanu Pratap Singh, Dr. Rashmi Prakash Gurao, and Dr. Rohan Verma.

Ph.D. and PG scholars actively participated in spreading awareness, emphasizing that Vitiligo is not contagious and should never be a cause for discrimination. Medicine kits were also distributed to patients.

World Vitiligo Day 2026 | Symposium Programme
As part of the ongoing World Vitiligo Day 2026, the Department of Kriya Sharir, National Institute of Ayurveda (NIA), Jaipur, organized a Symposium Programme today (23/06/2026) focusing on Myths, Scientific Reasons, and Treatment Approaches Related to Vitiligo.
MD and PhD scholars actively participated in the symposium and shared their perspectives on various aspects of vitiligo, helping to promote scientific awareness and dispel common misconceptions associated with the condition.
The programme was conducted under the guidance of Prof. Dr. C. R. Yadav, Dean PhD & Head, Department of Kriya Sharir. During the session, Prof. Dr. C. R. Yadav and Prof. Dr. Mahendra Prasad delivered insightful talks on the myths, scientific understanding, and management of vitiligo, emphasizing the importance of awareness, acceptance, and evidence-based care.

Today (22/06/2026), as part of the World Vitiligo Day celebrations, the Department of Kriya Sharir, National Institute of Ayurveda (NIA), Jaipur, organized a Slogan Competition to spread awareness and promote acceptance towards individuals living with vitiligo.
The event was conducted under the supervision of Prof. Dr. C. R. Yadav, Dean, PhD & Head, Department of Kriya Sharir. The competition entries were evaluated by Prof. Dr. Mahendra Prasad, and Dr. Rohan Verma, Assistant Professor, who served as judges for the event. Dr. Rashmi Prakash Gurao, Assistant Professor, coordinated the successful conduct of the competition.
