Sec 80TTA: Tax Deduction for Interest on Savings Account

From A/Y 2013-14 onwards, a new deduction of Rs. 10,000 is available for Interest earned on Savings Account. This deduction is a part of Chapter VI-A and therefore Interest would first be added in GTI, and then deduction allowed under Chapter VI-A

Dear All,

There are rumours and fake photographs floating on many web portal claiming that the passing criteria for CA Examination is increased. The ICAI has clarified that, there is no such changes under consideration.

Revaluation of CA Final/ CPT Result

If you are not satisfied with the marks awarded to you, you can apply for Revaluation/Verification by submitting a hand-written application to ICAI.

The application can also be submitted online by uploading a scanned copy online.

Last Date for Application of CPT/CA Final: 16 Aug
