Glimpses from Hiff - Design Before We Disappear
Students showcased sustainability in action in this Design Exhibit through garments, products, installations & VM made with natural dyes from mehndi, haldi, jamun, bel, anaar, beetroot, gulab, manjistha + organic materials like bamboo, banana fibre, cactus & revived ittar for a multi-sensory experience.
The highlight: Hourglass Installation- plants & hope on top, debris & destruction below. A reminder that time is running out.
Theme: Design isn't decoration. It's responsibility.
From up cycling, circular design & heritage to a special showcase by Rajeevika Self-Help Groups- creativity met community & sustainability.
Because the planet doesn't need saving sentimentally. We need to redesign.
