20 Beds, St Xavier’s Alumni, Covid care center, inaugurated by Dr Raghu Sharma, honorable minister for medical & health, Government of Rajasthan.
Dr.Raghu Sharma Hon. Minister for Medical and Health government of Rajasthan inaugurated the Xavier's Alumni Covid care centre, virtually on 24.5.21. He also inaugurated portal for free online counseling services and free online yoga and meditation services, to be provided by the centre. Dr.Raghu Sharma also flagged off mobile van mobility for rural Rajasthan, which will conduct free Covid antigen tests on a daily basis.
St. Xavier’s family at Jaipur with support of Alumni members of the school and college have created a 20 bed covid care center where asymptomatic patients shall be admitted free of cost. Additionaly they will be provided free medical care, medical supplies and food. The center is well equipped with oxygen concentrators donated by the members.
Round the clock doctors and nursing staff has been made available at the center. This is the first organization to reach rural villages by a mobile van to conduct free antigen test for covid. The van will also carry dry ration, masks and sanitizers, they will also be disseminating information regarding Covid and black fungus prevention. The center has also started free online counselling facility, yoga and meditation classes in the morning & evening. The center will also provide oxygen concentrators on returnable basis to the needy free of cost.
Miss Aparna Joshi, president of St. Xavier’s College Alumni along with Mr. Ajay Kochar, president of St. Xavier’s School Alumni had created the facility with the support of alumni members under the guidance of Jesuit Father’s.
