Department of IT at Lyallpur Khalsa College Technical Campus Organizes One-Day Workshop on "Generative AI & Canva"
Jalandhar, July 10, 2026: The Department of Information Technology, Lyallpur Khalsa College Technical Campus (LKCTC), Jalandhar, successfully organized a One-Day Workshop on "Generative AI & Canva" on 10th July 2026 for the newly admitted students of BCA 1st Year and B.Voc. (WTM) 1st Year.
The workshop was conducted with the objective of familiarizing students with the rapidly evolving field of Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) and enhancing their creative designing skills using Canva. During the session, students were introduced to various AI-powered tools that can support academic learning, content creation, presentations, and digital productivity.
A hands-on Canva training session enabled participants to design posters, presentations, and social media creatives while exploring the platform's advanced features. Students actively participated in interactive activities, quizzes, and practical demonstrations, making the workshop highly engaging and informative.
The event highlighted the growing importance of AI in education and encouraged students to embrace emerging technologies to become future-ready professionals. Faculty members of the Department of IT motivated students to continuously upgrade their digital skills and leverage AI responsibly for learning and innovation.
The workshop concluded with an enthusiastic response from the participants, who appreciated the practical learning experience and expressed keen interest in exploring Artificial Intelligence and creative design tools further.
