✨Godavari Polytechnic, Jalgaon, organized the Alumni Meet 2026–27 on 18th August 2026, with participation from more than 50 alumni students.

✨The programme commenced with Saraswati Pujan, followed by a warm welcome to the alumni. Dr. Vijaykumar Patil, Principal, Godavari Foundation’s Godavari College of Engineering, addressed the gathering and spoke about the valuable role of alumni in the growth of an institution. He appreciated the achievements of the alumni and encouraged them to support the institution and inspire the coming generations through their success stories.

✨Prof. Deepak Zambare, Polytechnic Coordinator, highlighted the importance of alumni engagement and appreciated the contributions made by former students in different fields. He encouraged the alumni to share their professional knowledge, industry experiences and career insights, thereby creating opportunities for meaningful interaction and collaboration.

💫⚡🥀Godavari Polytechnic Jalgaon, Organizes 2026 🥀⚡💫

⚡Godavari Polytechnic, Jalgaon, organized the Induction Programme 2026-27 for newly admitted first-year Polytechnic students on 17th and 18th August 2026. The two-day programme aimed to warmly welcome the students and familiarize them with the institution, academic practices, opportunities and responsibilities of student life.

⚡The programme commenced with Saraswati Pujan and a warm welcome to the newly admitted students. Dr. Vijaykumar Patil, Principal, Godavari Foundation’s Godavari College of Engineering, addressed the students and motivated them to approach their college journey with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn. He emphasized the importance of developing communication skills, personality, confidence, discipline and technical as well as professional competencies.

⚡The Polytechnic Coordinator Prof. Deepak Zambre addressed the students and briefed them about college rules, academic policies, discipline, attendance and the importance of active participation in curricular and co-curricular activities. Students were also encouraged to make the best use of the facilities and opportunities provided by the institution.

⚡In the afternoon session, Dr. Prashant Warke, Director, GIMR, Jalgaon, conducted an insightful session on Human Values, Creativity and Gender Equality. He highlighted the importance of values, respect, creativity, responsible behaviour and equality in building a successful and meaningful personality.

⚡The programme further included the introduction of various committees, interaction with the First-Year Department staff and guidance on identifying and nurturing students’ potential, helping students understand the various opportunities available to them.

⚡On the second day, a Parents’ Meeting was organized, which witnessed an encouraging presence of first-year students’ parents. Principal Dr. Vijaykumar Patil addressed the parents and emphasized that the overall development of a student is a shared responsibility of the student, parents and faculty. He encouraged parents to support their children, understand their strengths and challenges, maintain healthy communication and work collaboratively with the institution. Parents also shared their valuable feedback, expectations and suggestions regarding their children’s development and the institution.

⚡Polytechnic Coordinator Prof. Deepak Zambare also addressed the parents and emphasized the importance of understanding children, giving them appropriate space and maintaining open communication. He encouraged parents to build a supportive relationship with their children rather than creating unnecessary pressure.

⚡The next session featured an Alumni Interaction, where passed-out diploma students interacted with the newly admitted students and shared their academic experiences, career journeys, challenges and valuable guidance for making the most of their diploma education.

⚡The programme concluded with an orientation on the ‘K’ Scheme, conducted by Dr. P. P. Chaudhari, Principal, Government Polytechnic, Jalgaon, along with Prof. Nitin C. Patil, Academic Dean. The session provided students with an understanding of the scheme, academic structure, evaluation pattern, credits and other important aspects of Polytechnic education.

✨The 80th Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Godavari College of Engineering on 15th August 2026.

✨On this occasion, , President of Godavari Foundation, unfurled the National Flag.

✨The ceremony was graced by the presence of Dr. Ulhas Patil, President, Godavari Foundation; Dr. Vijaykumar Patil, Principal, Godavari College of Engineering; Mrs. Neelima Chaudhari, Principal, Godavari English Medium School, along with distinguished dignitaries from all the institutions under the Godavari Foundation.

✨As part of the Independence Day celebration, the students of Godavari English Medium School and Godavari College of Engineering presented beautiful patriotic songs and delivered inspiring speeches. The students also presented their innovative ideas and expressed their views on themes such as New India and the Developed India Mission.

✨Dr. Ketki Patil’s birthday was celebrated with great enthusiasm, warmth and affection at Godavari College of Engineering, Jalgaon. The celebration brought together the dignitaries, faculty members, non-teaching staff and students from various institutions under the Godavari Foundation, creating an atmosphere of joy, togetherness and gratitude.

✨The celebration commenced with the arrival of Dr. Ketki Patil on the college campus, where she was warmly welcomed with flowers as a gesture of love, respect and gratitude. The hostel girls warmly welcomed Dr. Ketki Patil by applying a traditional tilak and extending their heartfelt birthday wishes for her happiness, success and well-being. In a deeply emotional moment, Dr. Ketki Patil respectfully bowed before the memory of her beloved grandmother, Godavari Aaji, and remembered her with love and gratitude.

⚡The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science (AI & DS), Godavari College of Engineering, Jalgaon, successfully organized a Five-Day National Level Faculty Development Program (FDP) on “ ” from August 3 to August 7, 2026, in online mode.

⚡The program was conducted under the inspiring leadership of Hon. Dr. Ulhas Patil, Founder President of Godavari Foundation, with the guidance of Dr. (Mrs.) Varsha Ulhas Patil, Secretary, and the support of Dr. Vijaykumar Patil, Principal of the college. The FDP was convened by Dr. Anilkumar Vishwakarma, Head of the Department, AI & DS, and coordinated by Asst. Prof. Disha Salunke.

⚡The primary objective of the FDP was to provide faculty members, researchers, and industry professionals with updated knowledge and practical insights into Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Big Data Analytics, and emerging research trends.

⚡On Day 1, Mr. Pankaj Wankhede, Founder of Aspireya Consulting, delivered insightful sessions on *Foundations of AI & Data Science*, focusing on Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, industry-academia collaboration, skill development, and future career opportunities.

⚡On Day 2, Mr. Rohan Phegade, AI/ML Engineer, conducted sessions on *Machine Learning Techniques*, covering Machine Learning models, Feature Engineering, Explainable AI, and AI-based research methodologies.

⚡On Day 5, Ms. Tejaswini Koparde, Chief Business Development Officer and Research & Innovation Coordinator, shared valuable insights on emerging research directions, innovation, intellectual property rights, research funding opportunities, project proposal development, and publication strategies. This was followed by a session by Mr. Pavan Shimpi, Director & Application Security Engineer, on *Secure AI Deployment and Cybersecurity*, focusing on Application Security, OWASP Best Practices, Cybersecurity Challenges, and secure AI system development.

⚡The FDP received an overwhelming response from faculty members, researchers, and industry professionals from various institutions across India and abroad. Interactive discussions and question-answer sessions throughout the program enriched the learning experience of all participants.

✨The Department of Mechanical Engineering, GF's Godavari College of Engineering, Jalgaon, successfully organized a Five-Day National Faculty Development Program (FDP) on the theme "Idea to Impact: Research Methodology, Innovation and Intellectual Property Rights" from 27th to 31st July 2026 in online mode.

✨The FDP was organized under the visionary leadership of Hon'ble Dr. Ulhas Patil, President of Godavari Foundation, with the constant encouragement of Dr. (Mrs.) Varsha Ulhas Patil, Secretary, and the valuable guidance of Dr. Vijaykumar Patil, Principal of the institute. The program was convened by Dr. Tushar A. Koli, Dean Academics, while Dr. Kishor M. Mahajan served as the Coordinator.

✨The objective of the FDP was to provide faculty members, research scholars, postgraduate students, and academicians with comprehensive exposure to the complete research ecosystem—from identifying research problems and designing quality research methodologies to scientific writing, publication ethics, intellectual property rights, patent drafting, technology transfer, startups, and commercialization of research.

✨The national-level FDP witnessed an overwhelming response from participants representing various engineering colleges, universities, and research institutions across India.
