🏭 From Classroom to Industry: Mechanical Engineering Students Gain ! 🚀

Jalgaon, 24 September 2026:

⚡The Department of Mechanical Engineering, Godavari College of Engineering, Jalgaon (Autonomous) organized an insightful Industrial Visit for S.Y. B.Tech. Mechanical Engineering students as a part of their academic curriculum. The visit provided students with a valuable opportunity to step beyond the classroom and experience real-world industrial practices, manufacturing processes, machinery, quality control and industrial operations firsthand.

⚡ As part of the industrial exposure, the students visited , Jalgaon, a spring manufacturing industry, where they observed the various stages involved in spring manufacturing and related production processes. The visit helped students connect their theoretical knowledge of manufacturing, material processing, machine tools and production engineering with actual industrial practices.

⚡ The students also visited , Jalgaon, where they gained practical insights into cold-storage operations, refrigeration systems, temperature-controlled storage and industrial material handling. The visit enabled them to understand the importance of thermal engineering and refrigeration technologies in preserving agricultural and food products.

⚡ The final industrial visit was to , Jalgaon, associated with the manufacturing of Parle-G biscuits. Students got an opportunity to observe the systematic functioning of a food-processing and manufacturing facility, including various stages of production, processing, quality control, packaging and material movement. The visit provided an interesting perspective on how engineering principles and automated systems are integrated into large-scale food manufacturing.

⚡ During the entire visit, students interacted with industrial personnel and observed the importance of safety, productivity, quality assurance, process planning, maintenance and efficient utilization of resources in an industrial environment.

⚡ Prof. K. M. Mahajan, Visit Coordinator, and Prof. Pankaj Bonde accompanied the students throughout the industrial visit and guided them in understanding the practical aspects of the processes and technologies observed.

✨ The industrial visit proved to be a highly enriching learning experience, bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application. The students returned with greater awareness of industrial operations, valuable technical insights and a better understanding of the professional environment awaiting them beyond graduation.

✨ GF's Godavari College of Engineering (Polytechnic), Jalgaon organized an insightful for Second- and Third-Year Electrical Engineering students to Tashwita Electrical and Ashish Electrical, Jalgaon, on 24 September 2026.

🔧 During the visit, students explored the manufacturing of Step-Up and Step-Down Transformers and gained practical exposure to:

🔩 Assembly, fittings & connections

⚡ on “Electrical Safety, Green Energy and Energy Conservation” Inspires Students⚡

Jalgaon, September 15, 2026:

✨Engineers’ Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Godavari Polytechnic, Jalgaon, to commemorate the birth anniversary of the legendary Indian engineer and Bharat Ratna Sir Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya. As part of the celebration, a special guest lecture on “Electrical Safety, Green Energy and Energy Conservation” was organized by the Department of Electrical Engineering.

✨The programme aimed to create awareness among students about the safe and responsible use of electricity, prevention of electrical accidents, adoption of renewable and green energy, and the importance of energy conservation in daily life.

✨ The keynote guidance was delivered by , Engineer, Mahavitaran, who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Addressing the students, Er. Waghulde highlighted various practical aspects of electrical safety and explained the precautions that should be followed while handling and using electrical appliances and systems.

✨He elaborated on the essential safety measures for preventing electrical accidents and emphasized the need to develop a safety-conscious approach while using electricity at home, in educational institutions, industries, and public places. His practical insights helped students understand that electrical safety is not merely a technical requirement but an essential responsibility of every electricity user.

✨Er. Waghulde also spoke extensively about the growing importance of green energy and energy conservation in the context of sustainable development. He explained the significance of reducing unnecessary energy consumption and encouraged students to adopt energy-efficient practices in their everyday lives.

✨During the session, special emphasis was placed on “Electricity Conservation, Safety and Our Responsibility,” “Schemes for Electricity Consumers,” and “An Appeal for Electrical Safety.” He encouraged the students to become ambassadors of electrical safety and spread awareness among their families and communities.

✨Highlighting the broader social significance of energy conservation, he stated that saving electricity is not merely an economic necessity but also a social responsibility. He urged the students to contribute towards building a safer, energy-efficient and environmentally sustainable society.

✨The interactive nature of the session made the programme particularly engaging. Students participated enthusiastically and raised several questions related to electrical safety, electricity consumption, consumer schemes, energy conservation and green energy. Er. Waghulde addressed their queries and provided practical explanations, making the session informative and meaningful.

✨The programme was attended by Principal Dr. Vijaykumar Patil, Diploma Coordinator Prof. Deepak Zambare, Academic Dean Prof. Nitin Patil, Heads of various departments, faculty members and students. Prof. Gayatri Wagh served as the Chief Coordinator of the programme and played an important role in its successful organization.

✨The celebration provided students with an opportunity to understand the wider role and responsibilities of engineers beyond technical knowledge.
