Department of Mass Communication and New Media at Central University of Jammu is going to organise three days of workshop on “Smartphone Filmmaking” from 11th April to 13 April 2022.
Mr Ritesh Taksande(Film Maker, Director, and Editor) faculty of Film & Television Institute of India, Pune, will be the resource person of the program. Students will be able to unfold various aspects of Filmmaking with Smartphones effectively.

This three-days workshop will provide the platform to learn :
1. Scriptwriting structure and Flow
2. Basic Camera Shots of angels, Movements
3. Camera Visualization
4. Creative Visualisation
5. Planning for the shoot
6. Editing theory
7. Mobile app for Edit, Editing text, Title, B-rolls

Over 250 female students from various educational institutions of Jammu region participated in third and fourth webinars in the five-webinar series for capacity building and personality development organised by Central University of Jammu, in collaboration with National commission for Women, Govt. of India. All the female participants were from Government College for Women, Parade, Government Degree College, Kathua, Government Degree College, Samba, MIER College of Education and Central University of Jammu. The programme was coordinated by Department of Mass Communication and New Media, Department of Social Work and Department of Educational Studies of Central University of Jammu. The webinar series was organised under the visionary leadership of Honourable Vice Chancellor of Central University of Jammu, Dr. Sanjeev Jain and the guidance of Prof. J.N. Baliya, Head, Department of Mass Communication and New Media.
