✍️Students and staff of Government Polytechnic for Women, Jammu participated in an insightful Awareness Programme on Agri-Entrepreneurship, Training, Funding Opportunities and Branding Support organized at SKUAST-Jammu. The programme aimed to create awareness among participants about emerging opportunities in agri-entrepreneurship and the various avenues available for innovation, startup development, skill enhancement, funding and branding in the agricultural and allied sectors.
The programme was inaugurated by the Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor of Jammu & Kashmir, Shri Manoj Sinha, who highlighted the importance of entrepreneurship, innovation and technology-driven initiatives in strengthening the agricultural ecosystem and creating sustainable livelihood and employment opportunities for the youth.
The programme was organized with the support of the Agri-Business Incubation Foundation (ABIF), SKUAST-Jammu, and focused on promoting agri-startups, incubation support, training programmes, funding opportunities, market linkages and branding assistance. The participants were apprised of various initiatives designed to encourage young innovators and aspiring entrepreneurs to transform innovative ideas into viable and sustainable business ventures.
The session provided students with valuable exposure to the potential of agriculture-based entrepreneurship and encouraged them to explore innovative career opportunities beyond conventional employment. The students and staff of Government Polytechnic for Women, Jammu, participated enthusiastically and gained valuable insights into the growing field of agri-entrepreneurship.

✍️Udyam Jagriti 5.0 is the 2026 Entrepreneurship Awareness and Mobilisation Campaign under Mission YUVA (Yuva Udyami Vikas Abhiyan) in Jammu & Kashmir. The campaign is being conducted through awareness camps to encourage youth and women to pursue self-employment and entrepreneurship. 🇮🇳On the occasion of the 150th anniversary of Vande Mataram, the students of Government Polytechnic for Women, Jammu enthusiastically participated in a creative and patriotic Rangoli-making activity organized at the institution.

The students beautifully depicted the Tricolour and the Ashoka Chakra through an artistic Rangoli, reflecting their creativity, patriotism, and deep respect for the nation. The vibrant artwork served as a meaningful expression of national pride and highlighted the spirit of unity and devotion towards the motherland.

The event was coordinated by Ms. Bhawna Arora, Lecturer, Textile Department, who guided and encouraged the students throughout the activity. The enthusiastic participation of the students added vibrancy and significance to the celebration.

The activity provided the students with an opportunity to express their patriotic sentiments through art while commemorating the rich legacy and enduring significance of Vande Mataram. 🇮🇳The 80th Independence Day was celebrated with great patriotic fervour and enthusiasm at Government Polytechnic for Women Jammu. The celebration witnessed the enthusiastic participation of the Principal, Er. Neelanjana Manwati, faculty members, staff and students, who came together to commemorate the historic occasion with pride and respect for the nation.
The Tricolour was proudly displayed, symbolizing the spirit of freedom, unity and national integrity. On the occasion, Principal Er. Neelanjana Manwati addressed the gathering and extended her warm greetings on Independence Day. 🇮🇳A Tiranga Rally was organized at Government Polytechnic for Women Jammu on 13th August 2026 as part of the celebrations leading up to Independence Day. The rally witnessed enthusiastic participation from the Principal, faculty members, staff, and students of the institution.
The rally was organized to foster a spirit of patriotism, national pride, and unity among the students and staff. Participants proudly carried the Tricolour (Tiranga) and raised patriotic slogans, reflecting their deep respect and love for the nation.
The Principal, Er.
