Binda Singh to pay a tribute to Late Sri Ran Vrjay Singh, a great thinker and social reformer with strong determination and commitment to foster a holistic approach towards the development of general and technical education as well as research and development to create a band of highly creative technocrats who will contribute in “Nation Building”. RVSCET is the First Private Engineering College in the industrial city of Jamshedpur. The college was inaugurated on 24.05.04 by the Chief Minister of Jharkhand in presence of the Minister for Human Resource Development. It is one of the best institute in private sector in the state dedicated specially to the people of Jharkhand to lead the state to prosperity through technical education and involvement for the cause of the society. The mission of the institute is to provide an excellent quality technical education coupled with activities to further enhance social and intellectual growth. This institute is approved by AICTE, New Delhi, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India in the year 2004 and subsequently by the Department of Science & Technology and Information Technology, Govt. 🩸 Blood Donation Camp Successfully Organized at RVS College of Engineering and Technology, Jamshedpur

RVS College of Engineering and Technology, Jamshedpur, successfully organized a Blood Donation Camp in collaboration with MGM, with financial support from HDFC Bank, Mango Branch. The camp was inaugurated by Shri Binda Singh, Chairman of RVS Educational Trust.

The occasion was graced by Shri Shatrughna Singh, Treasurer of RVS Educational Trust; Shri Shakti Singh, Governing Body Member; Dr. B.V.K. Chaudhary, Head of the Blood Donation Department at MGM; Mr. Raghav Kumar; Mr. Sanjay Kumar; and representatives from HDFC Bank — Sahil Raj Singh, Imam Khan, and Prabhat Bhaskar.

All the dignitaries were warmly welcomed by the Principal of the institution, Prof. (Dr.) Rajesh Kumar Tiwari.

The camp witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, faculty members, staff, and trainees of the Skill Development Centre.

From Classroom to Innovation: Visit to NIT Jamshedpur Incubation Centre

Our students recently had the opportunity to visit the Incubation Centre at NIT Jamshedpur on 24th April 2026. The visit provided valuable insights into the startup ecosystem, innovation processes, and entrepreneurial support systems.

From understanding how ideas transform into viable ventures to exploring real-time projects, the experience was both inspiring and informative. Interactions with experts and exposure to advanced facilities encouraged students to think beyond classrooms and towards impactful innovation.

Preparing Students Today to Power the Industry Tomorrow

As India’s renewable energy sector grows, the need for industry-ready engineers is more important than ever. Bridging the gap between classroom learning and industry expectations is key to shaping future professionals.

With this vision, Switching AVO conducted a Job Readiness Program at our first Centre of Excellence ( ) - RVS College of Engineering and Technology, Jamshedpur, for students of the Electrical Engineering stream.

Ms. Parboti Pal, Vice President, Switching AVO Electro Power Limited, interacted with the students and shared insights about AVO’s journey, purpose, milestones, and future pursuits in the energy sector.

She also conducted interactions and interviews with the students to assess their technical knowledge, confidence, and readiness to join the industry.

The session was facilitated by Mr. Thakur, HOD - EEE Department, RVS College of Engineering and Technology, Jamshedpur, whose presence added valuable academic guidance.
