The students of XLRI Jamshedpur came together in the spirit of service and community at the Blood Donation Drive organised by Team SIGMA-oikos, in association with Brahmananda Narayana Multispeciality Hospital, Jamshedpur, on 14 October 2026.

The drive collected 103 units of blood, potentially saving over 300 lives, and witnessed a 25% increase in donors compared to 2024. Students across programmes participated alongside faculty, staff and their families, with several first-time donors stepping forward.

The event commenced with a lamp-lighting ceremony by Dr. (Fr.) Sebastian George, S.J., Dr. (Fr.) Donald D’Silva, S.J., Prof. Saurav Snehvrat, Prof. Chirag Dagar and Santosh Andrews, reflecting XLRI’s shared commitment to service and community well-being.

A regular feature of XLRI’s calendar, the initiative continues to create meaningful healthcare impact through sustained community participation and partnerships.

XLRI Jamshedpur hosted Manakriti 3.0, the flagship AI Conclave by the AI Nexus Club, under the theme “The Agentic Enterprise: Turning AI Agents into P&L Reality.”

The conclave brought together industry leaders from Adobe, PwC, CGI, Lenovo India, Tech Mahindra, Tiger Analytics and others to explore autonomous AI systems, human-AI collaboration and the measurable business value of AI adoption.

The event opened with an address by Fr. Dr. Joseph Mathew, S.J., and concluded with reflections by Prof. Sunil Kumar Sarangi, reinforcing the importance of responsible AI adoption, effective governance and business impact.

XLRI Jamshedpur hosted the Journal of Management Studies (JMS) Publishing Workshop on 31 August–1 September 2026, bringing together doctoral scholars, faculty members and distinguished academics for an engaging exchange on research excellence and scholarly publishing.

Featuring sessions by Prof. Johann Fortwengel, General Editor, JMS; Prof. Claudia Gabbioneta and Prof. Shameen Prashantham, Co-Editors, JMS, the publishing workshop explored theoretical contributions, academic writing, journal’s review process and strategies for publishing impactful research. Through expert insights and scholarly discussions, participants developed an understanding of how to develop stronger research arguments, advance theoretical understanding and contribute meaningfully to ongoing academic conversations.

The publishing workshop reaffirmed XLRI’s commitment to fostering a vibrant research ecosystem and advancing rigorous, relevant and responsible management scholarship.

XLRI – Xavier School of Management is proud to be part of Jamshedpur’s first Inter-College Sports Meet, bringing together student-athletes from seven institutions for two days of sporting excellence, teamwork and camaraderie.

Competing across six sporting disciplines at the JRD Tata Sports Complex, the event celebrated the spirit of healthy competition, fair play and holistic student development values that extend learning beyond the classroom.

XLRI’s contingent delivered an outstanding performance, securing First Position in the Women’s Overall Category and sharing First Position in the Men’s Overall Category jointly with another participating institution. XLRI is proud to announce the successful conclusion of the Summer Internship Process for the Batch of 2026–28, marking an important milestone in the professional journey of its students across the Jamshedpur and Delhi-NCR campuses.

The Summer Internship Process serves as a bridge between classroom learning and industry experience, providing students with opportunities to apply their knowledge, explore diverse career paths, and engage with leading organisations across sectors.
