Literary & Debating Society, NIT Jamshedpur Founded in 1968, LDS is the oldest club of the institute. It conducts events which strike the right balance between fun & much needed linguistic prowess.

The Literary & Debating Society (LDS) is a student body which organizes literary events such as debates, Potpourri, Mock Parliaments, Quizzes, Dumb Charades, Group Discussions, and the like. Every year students who display exemplary linguistic skills, both verbal and written, are inducted into the society, if they wish so.
