Bundelkhand University was established on August 26, 1975, in the Jhansi town of Uttar Pradesh. The University is a member of The Association of Indian Universities (AIU). It has around 77 affiliated colleges and institutes that offer undergraduate courses. Post Graduate courses are usually offered by different university departments. ial University when the Department of Business Administration, Department of Rural Economics & Cooperation, Department of Mathematics and Statistics and, Department of Library & Information Science started operating in its main Campus. It offers courses in various disciplines such as arts, sciences, commerce, engineering, and law etc. It has a campus area over 186 acres of land on both the sides of Jhansi – Kanpur highway.Then after few years, in 1986, it switched to the residential institution.
