A Day of Research, Insight & Innovation at LMCST!

Today, Lachoo Memorial College of Science & Technology, Faculty of Commerce and Management, hosted the National Seminar on “Research for Better Tomorrow”, bringing together academicians, researchers, bureaucrats, industry leaders, and students for a day of meaningful dialogue on research and its real-world impact.

We were honoured to welcome our esteemed guests:

Shri Alok Ranjan — District Magistrate & Collector, Jodhpur
Shri. Mohit Verma — Indian Economic Service, Joint Director, Government of India
Mr. Nilesh Sancheti — Managing Partner & Lead Corporate Trainer
Dr. Ashish Mathur — Professor & Deputy Director, DMS, Central University of Haryana

From contemporary research practices to emerging sectors like CBG and carbon markets, the sessions opened up new ways of thinking about where research meets the real economy. The panel discussion on “Academic research and its impact on Industry" struck a chord, reminding us how much academic knowledge gains when it engages with practical challenges.

For our students, the day was more than a seminar. It broadened their vision of research, innovation, and the career paths ahead. 💡
