Preserving Our Textile Heritage, Empowering Future Innovators! ​On the proud occasion of our 33rd Foundation Day, IIHT, Jodhpur officially launched (वस्त्र कोष) Vastra Kosh – Handloom Technical Resource Centre (VK-HTRC) in the library annexure.

​Conceived as a dedicated technical repository and study center, houses specialized weave structures, traditional textile documentations, regional craft samples, and technical specifications under a structured accession system.

This dynamic space will serve as a vital bridge between centuries-old artisan wisdom and modern handloom engineering, providing our students, faculty, and industry researchers with hands-on learning resources right at their fingertips.

Rooted in Purpose: Our 1,000 Tree Drive: ​On the momentous occasion of our 33rd Foundation Day, the Go Green Eco Club of the IIHT Jodhpur officially launched a massive 1,000 Tree Plantation Drive on the institute campus (16th September 2026). ​This green campus initiative marks our ongoing commitment to environmental stewardship, ecological balance, and building a sustainable learning space.

Students, faculty members, and administrative staff joined hands to plant saplings across designated campus areas, turning our anniversary milestone into a living legacy of green action.

We stand committed to not only launching this initiative today, but ensuring all 1,000 trees are successfully planted and established across our campus within this year

Celebrating Linguistic Excellence & Official Language Initiatives! As part of our continuous commitment to promoting the progressive use of our official language, IIHT, Jodhpur successfully observed Hindi Pakhwada 2026 from September 1st to 15th, 2026.

The fortnight-long initiative witnessed energetic engagement across a series of administrative writing, quiz, technical vocabulary, essay, and other competitions designed to enhance bilingual proficiency and official communication. Honoring Our Achievers! During our 33rd Foundation Day celebrations today, our esteemed faculty members and dedicated administrative staff winners, along with outstanding participants, were formally felicitated with special prizes, and merit certificates for their commendable performances and active involvement.

Celebrating 33 Years of Weaving Excellence & Innovation! Today, IIHT Jodhpur proudly commemorated its 33rd Foundation Day with great enthusiasm, purposeful initiatives, and vibrant student participation.
Marking this milestone, we officially inaugurated Vastra Kosh – Handloom Technical Resource Centre (VK-HTRC) in our library annexure and kicked off a massive 1,000 Tree Plantation Drive toward a greener, more sustainable campus.

The day was further enlivened with our annual prize distribution honoring exceptional student and staff achievements. Here are glimpses of our proud students receiving prizes for National Handloom Day, Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan, and National Sports Day competitions!

Empowering the next generation with the tools for lifelong financial independence! Today, the Indian Institute of Handloom Technology (IIHT), Jodhpur, successfully hosted an insightful workshop titled "Financial Discipline for Financial Freedom" at our Seminar Hall for 2nd and 3rd-year students.

We had the privilege of hosting CA Shri Om Taparia Ji, seasoned Chartered Accountant with over 46 years of expertise in finance, alongside Major Bheesma Bhardwaj, who shared invaluable perspectives on building a disciplined mindset toward wealth and security.
