Annual Function -2026
Education with discipline is the key to success. Without discipline, education has no value.These words were expressed by Hon’ble Justice Dr. P. S. Bhati, Hon’ble Judge of Rajasthan High Court, while addressing the Annual Day and Prize Distribution Ceremony.
The Annual Day and Prize Distribution Ceremony of Aishwarya College Autonomous, Jodhpur was organized at the auditorium of Marwar International Center, where Hon’ble Justice Dr. P. S. Bhati attended as the Chief Guest and Prof. (Dr.) Akhil Ranjan Garg, Vice Chancellor of Bikaner Technical University, presided over the Ceremony. Governing Board Members, Academic Council Members, alumni, parents, and distinguished guests were also present on the occasion.
The program commenced with lamp lighting before the idol of Goddess Saraswati by Chairman Bhupendra Singh Rathore, Principal Dr. Rishi Nepalia, Director of Delhi Public School Shikargarh Dr. Jyotsana Singh Shekhawat, and Director of Delhi Public Primary School Dr. Abhimanyu Singh Shekhawat along with the guests.
Principal Dr. Rishi Nepalia presented the annual report of the college through a presentation. In the report, he highlighted the achievements completed during the 26-year journey of the institution, including NAAC A Grade, autonomous status granted by UGC.
Prof. (Dr.) Akhil Ranjan Garg stated that the country needs such excellent institutions. Addressing the students during the program, he said that under the vision of Developed India Mission, every student must play an important role. He further emphasized that in the era of AI and technology, the participation of students is extremely important in building a developed India.
During the award distribution ceremony, awards were presented in various categories including Best Faculty, Outstanding Contribution, and Best Non-Teaching Staff.
Joseph Dickenson from Computer Science, Dr. Shikha Dave from Science, Dr. Shilpa Parihar from Commerce & Management, Dr. Jaswant Sharma from Arts, and Dr. Neelima Arora from Law were honored as Best Faculty members. Dr. Apoorva Sharma and Prashant Ramawat received awards for Outstanding Contribution, while Shailendra Singh was honored in the Best Non-Teaching category.
Former students Anita Chaudhary, Sawai Ram Suthar, Garima Jain, and Swechha Agrawal, who achieved university merit and gold medals, were also felicitated. Along with them, outstanding students from different departments, NCC cadets, NSS volunteers, Scout Rovers, and students contributing towards society and the nation were honored. Sports achievers were also awarded medals and trophies.
Alumni working successfully in different sectors across India and abroad were invited and honored during the ceremony.
Former student Naveen Kalla shared that when students had to move to bigger cities for computer education, Aishwarya College envisioned providing quality education in Jodhpur itself.
Renowned mobile app developer and alumnus Khushal Sharma stated that when he joined the college, he was like a blank paper and the institution transformed him into a successful individual.
University Gold Medalist Garima Jain expressed pride in returning to her own college and being honored before her teachers. CEO of Gungun Coffee Brand, Gungun Upadhyay, credited the college for her success through quality education, management skills, internships, and industrial visits.
Dr. Mahaveer Singh Rathore, former student and Personal Secretary to Union Minister Shri Gajendra Singh Ji Shekhawat, stated that the guidance provided by teachers led him towards success.
Chairman Bhupendra Singh Rathore welcomed the alumni and stated that the 26-year journey of the institution had been full of struggles, but the college has always focused not only on classroom education but also on the holistic development and confidence building of students. For this purpose, along with regular classes, the college organizes expert lectures, industrial visits, skill development classes, and mock interviews to enhance practical knowledge and self-confidence among students.
The cultural performances by students remained the major attraction of the ceremony. Students presented energetic dance performances that filled the audience with excitement and applause.
NCC students emotionally moved the audience through their old-age home based skit “The Silent Tears.”
Dance Group also delivered remarkable performances.
The successful organization of the program was supported significantly by former student and Assistant Programmer in the Department of Information Technology & Communication, Government of Rajasthan, R. S. Thapa, along with Dr. Shikha Dave, Dr. Neetu Sharma, Er. Jaya Gangwani, and Sandeep Joshi.
Media representatives were also honored during the Annual Day celebration in appreciation of their contribution towards social awareness and society.
The program was coordinated and conducted by Commerce Department Head Basant Kalla, who expressed gratitude and extended congratulations to all department heads, faculty members, staff members, students, parents, and alumni.
