On 26 August 2026, SIIRM commemorated its 39th Foundation Day, marking another significant milestone in its journey of institutional development, academic excellence, service, and commitment to its founding vision.

The celebration brought together representatives from all 14 institutes of SIIRM, providing an opportunity to reflect on the achievements of the past year and look ahead to new opportunities and priorities. The presentation of the Annual Reports highlighted the progress, initiatives, and key accomplishments of the respective institutes, while cultural performances added a vibrant dimension to the occasion.

The programme also featured an address by ๐๐ซ๐จ๐Ÿ. ๐๐š๐ซ๐›๐š๐ซ๐š ๐‚๐š๐ง๐ ๐š๐ง, ๐๐ซ๐ž๐ฌ๐ข๐๐ž๐ง๐ญ, ๐’๐ˆ๐ˆ๐‘๐Œ, who reflected on the founding principles and vision of Dr. Thomas Cangan. Her address reinforced the importance of preserving these foundational values while continuing to respond to the evolving needs of education, management, research, and society.
