🤝 Standing Together in Times of Need
The teaching and non-teaching staff of the College of Community Science, Assam Agricultural University, organised a flood relief initiative to support families affected by the recent floods in Sivasagar district, Assam.
Relief materials were distributed at Lunpuriya Village, Dimow Constituency, and through Binayak Foundation, Gaurisagar, which has been actively engaged in providing assistance to flood-affected communities.
The relief items included:
• Mosquito nets
• Bedsheets
• Bath soaps
• Washing soaps
• Detergent powder
• Sanitary napkins
• Toothbrushes
• Toothpaste
• Hair oil
• Buckets
• Mugs
• Drinking water bottles and other essential items
The relief distribution was carried out by Dr. Nabaneeta Gogoi, Dr. Tulika Borah, and Dr. Toslima S. Begum, along with student volunteers representing the College of Community Science.
The College remains committed to serving communities during times of crisis and stands in solidarity with those affected by the floods. We sincerely acknowledge and appreciate the generosity, dedication, and collective efforts of all the teaching and non-teaching staff members whose contributions made this humanitarian initiative possible.
