A Seminar on Drug De-Addiction Awareness

RKSD College of Pharmacy, Kaithal, successfully organized a seminar on drug de-addiction on 10th November 2025. The event was graced by Chairman Sh. Ashwani Shorewala Ji and President Navneet Goyal, who delivered motivating addresses. Principal Dr. Rashmi Manchanda gave an inspiring speech, actively awaring students about the serious dangers of to***co use and the importance of choosing a healthy, substance-free lifestyle. Insightful lectures were also delivered by Dr. Renu Chawla (CMO, Civil Hospital, Kaithal) and Dr. Vinay Gupta (Mental Health Psychiatrist and Drug De-Addiction Specialist).

Vice Principal Dr. Harjinder Kaur and Dr. Gagan Mittal, Principal (RKSD College), joined in expressing gratitude to all teaching and non-teaching staff, as well as the students, for their enthusiastic participation and support in making the seminar a great success.

आर.के.एस.डी. कॉलेज ऑफ फार्मेसी, कैथल में आज 26 सितंबर 2025 को वर्ल्ड फार्मासिस्ट डे के उपलक्ष्य में रैली एवं प्रश्नोत्तरी प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन किया गया।

रैली का शुभारंभ प्रातः 9:00 बजे कॉलेज परिसर में अश्वनी शोरेवाला, चेयरमैन RVS एवं गवर्निंग बॉडी एवं श्री नवनीत गोयल, अध्यक्ष, आर.के.एस.डी. कॉलेज ऑफ फार्मेसी, श्री प्रवीन जैन, निदेशक, फार्मेसी कॉलेज, प्राचार्य डॉ राजबीर पराशर, की अगुवाई में किया गया जो की पेहवा चौक तक निकाली गई। इस रैली का उद्देश्य समाज में स्वास्थ्य जागरूकता फैलाना और फार्मासिस्ट की भूमिका को जन-जन तक पहुँचाना रहा। विद्यार्थियों ने हाथों में स्लोगन-पोस्टर लेकर स्वास्थ्य संबंधी संदेश दिए।

इसके उपरांत कॉलेज के सेमिनार हॉल में प्रश्नोत्तरी प्रतियोगिता आयोजित की गई, जिसमें विद्यार्थियों ने बढ़-चढ़कर भाग लिया और अपने ज्ञान का प्रदर्शन किया।

प्रश्नोत्तरी प्रतियोगिता का संचालन डॉ. उपासना, डॉ. अनुराधा, डॉ. रूपल मित्तल, शिवानी शर्मा, सुनैना एवं गुरदीप ने किया। इस प्रतियोगिता मे फार्मा माइंडस टीम प्रथम और फार्मा फ़ाइल द्वितीय स्थान पर रहे। विजयी प्रथम टीम को 1100/- रुपये एवं द्वितीय विजयी टीम को 500/- रुपये नगद देकर प्रोत्साहित किया गया।

श्याम बंसल एवं महेश कुमार मंगल, उपाध्यक्ष RVS, पंकज बंसल, महासचिव RVS एवं गवर्निंग बॉडी, सुनील चौधरी, कोषाध्यक्ष, डॉ. हरिंदर गुप्ता एवं प्रबंधन समिति के गणमान्य व्यक्ति उपस्थित रहे और अपने विचार साझा किए।

इस अवसर पर अश्वनी शोरेवाला, चेयरमैन RVS एवं गवर्निंग बॉडी एवं नवनीत गोयल, अध्यक्ष, आर.के.एस.डी. कॉलेज ऑफ फार्मेसी, प्रवीन जैन, निदेशक, फार्मेसी कॉलेज ने विजेताओं को बधाई दी और भविष्य मे भी ऐसे कार्यक्रम करते रहने की प्रेरणा दी।

कॉलेज की प्राचार्य डॉ. रश्मि मनचंदा एवं उप-प्रधानाचार्या डॉ. हरजिंदर कौर ने कहा कि “फार्मासिस्ट समाज की स्वास्थ्य सेवा में एक महत्वपूर्ण कड़ी है और युवा पीढ़ी को इस जिम्मेदारी को समझना चाहिए“और सभी अतिथियों एवं विद्यार्थियों का धन्यवाद किया।

Kaithal, September 25:
RKSD College of Pharmacy, Kaithal celebrated World Pharmacist Day with a blood donation and eye check-up camp in collaboration with Civil Hospital and Agrasen City Hospital.

Chief Guest Dr. Mohinder Singh Shah, Managing Director, Shah Multi-Speciality Hospital, highlighted the role of pharmacists as “guardians of health.” Mr. Ashwani Shorewala (President, RVS) and Mr. Navneet Goyal (President, RKSD College of Pharmacy) appreciated the students’ commitment to social service.

Principal Dr. Rashmi Manchanda said pharmacy is a pledge to humanity, while Vice Principal Dr. Harjinder Kaur stressed that such activities instill social responsibility. Faculty, management, and students actively participated in the program.

As part of the celebrations, a rally from College to Pehowa Chowk and a quiz competition will be organized on September 26, 2025.

These sessions highlighted the importance of drug safety, identification and reporting of adverse drug reactions, and strengthening pharmacovigilance practices.

The celebration aimed to spread awareness among students and staff, inspiring them to contribute towards patient safety and responsible use of medicines.

आर के एस डी कॉलेज ऑफ फार्मेसी, कैथल के सेमिनार हॉल में 11वें अंतरराष्ट्रीय योग दिवस के उपलक्ष में योग शिविर का आयोजन किया गया। इसमें कॉलेज की प्रधानाचार्या डॉ रश्मि मनचंदा, उप प्रधानाचार्या प्रोफेसर हरजिंदर कौर, अन्य शिक्षक गणों एवं बच्चों ने बढ़ चढ़ कर भाग लिया। इस शिविर का संचालन पतञ्जलि योग पीठ की कैथल की महिला प्रभारी श्रीमती शांति चौधरी, उनकी सहभागी कार्यकर्ता श्रीमती सुनीता शर्मा, तहसील प्रभारी एवं कर्मठ योग शिक्षक श्रीमती सुमन सिंह द्वारा किया गया। इस अवसर पर कॉलेज की प्रबंधक समिति के प्रधान श्री अश्वनी शोरेवाला एवं फार्मेसी के प्रबंधक श्री नवनीत गोयल, एडवोकेट ने ऐसे कार्यक्रमों को भविष्य में भी करते रहने के लिए प्रेरित किया और बताया कि योग का सहारा लेकर कैसे हम अपने जीवन मे शारिरिक, मानसिक एवं आध्यात्मिक सामंजस्य स्थापित कर सकते हैं।
इस दिन को मनाने का उद्देश्य योग के लाभों को वैश्विक स्तर पर लोगों तक पंहुचना एवं जागरूक करना है जिससे सभी अपने जीवन मे लाभान्वित हो सकें।
