Rajagiri Association of Yesteryear Students

Rajagiri Association of Yesteryear Students A committee was established under the Chairpersonship of the Principal, Mrs. Fr. Austin Mullerickal CMI and later, his successor Rev. Jijo Kadavan CMI.

Every educational institution is recognized by the quality of education it delivers as well as the alumni which enhances its fame by making a mark in their chosen field. Rajagiri Public School is blessed to have a wide and diverse alumni base that has excelled in fields of science, commerce, arts, entrepreneurship and part of think-tanks that drive the country. The need for an association that bro

ught the motley crowd of former students under one roof so that they may better channel their energies through contribution in the form of voluntary assistance and lending of expertise to the next generation of students and among alumni themselves was recognized by a joint committee of the Management, staff, Parent- Teacher Association and alumni themselves. Susan Varghese Cherian, assisted by a dedicated group of Alumni with the blessings of the Directors of the institute, Rev. Through the efforts of the committee, the Alumni body- christened Rajagiri Association of Yesteryear Students (RAYS) was formally recognized during the School’s 18th Annual Day on 26th January, 2012. RAYS hopes to strengthen the existing fabrics of friendship while creating new ones among the Alumni of the school and contributing to the name of Rajagiri.

FOR THE ATTENTION OF 2001/02/03 batches AND OTHERS WHO KNOW PPL OF 2001/02/03!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We are putting together a small compilation of experiences from our alumni veterans to students of RPS on how to step up the game, once they leave their school days behind.

It’s been a decade plus since RPS has been churning out the brightest minds the world has had to offer (Self appreciation is good Self-Motivation, just so you know!). Our memories of school days may have faded in the years since we’ve left Rajagiri’s hallowed corridors and gathered a little rust along the edges (Except for those dutiful Birthday Greetings every year on FB). Many among us have been at the forefront of an immense learning curve demystifying the concept called the ‘Real World’.

It’s time that we chettans and chechis contributed to wisdom of students in whose shoes we can easily place ourselves.

The brochure that we are compiling is intended to be distributed free of cost to the students of class 10 when they are on the threshold of making that all-important choice of which stream to choose for class 11. If you have a story to say on the choices you made (be it a good choice, wrong choice, choice to change schools, choice to change course/drop out, and choice to be different from the pack); we are eager to spread the word among the students too.

And, with that this appeal concludes with a request, that you all in earnest contribute a few words of awesomeness in a format that would be sent to you (Of course there is no hard and fast rule, but we prefer it this way). Please send in a photograph too. (It need not be formal; partying, thinking, meditating, smiling sab chalega)

TO RECEIVE THE FORMAT, PLEASE LEAVE A MESSAGE/SEND A MAIL TO [email protected]
