A Sincere Appeal to Every Parent — Please Read
The heartbreaking news from Lucknow, where 15 young lives were lost to fire because of negligence and a complete disregard for basic safety, has shaken all of us. These were children with dreams, entrusted to an institution that failed to protect them. No family should ever endure such a loss.
As the admission season for professional courses begins across the country, I write to you not as the Chairman of a college, but as someone who cares deeply about the safety of our children.
To the parents of Himachal Pradesh, and everywhere — please do not decide on an admission without visiting the institution first. If your child is considering a nursing course, go and see the campus with your own eyes. Check the safety measures. Observe whether the environment is warm and friendly. Assess the quality of education. If your child will stay in a hostel, inspect the food, the RO drinking water, and whether there is reliable 24/7 electricity.
Your child will spend 3–4 of the most formative years of their life there. Never compromise on their safety, comfort, or well-being. Choose the very best — your child deserves nothing less.
